Oh, and is there more of a "poster child" example of the issues with HB sideline behavior than this?

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/200435/978371?player_id=97514

It wasn't relevant to the outcome at that point, but good lord it's frustrating watching that shit happen. That back is set to slippery or combo iirc.

Yep - the outside running is not great for a lot of teams. PS HB Sweep and the 4WR pitches seem to be especially prone to making awful decisions.

I feel ya...It's really no fun in close games to watch a running team These days

Gal - I looked at my S11 stats.

On 258 First Downs in the Red Zone, LZ converted 193 TDs for 74.8%. Couldn't look at just inside the 10.

Think it would be higher running short routes? My average catch is about 13 yards so I've always thought that the routes were fine unless I'm inside the 3.

Wasn't that a Juke at play end just before the out of bounds? If the Juke was inside (it's supposed to be, right?) then he may have gotten a push back inside.

Too many easy yards weren't gained on that play.

Perfect gameplan from USC. Nothing to blame besides RNG and terrible game mechanics.

You can look inside the 0-9 yard range for 1st down's only, that would be 1st and Goal territory. I'm seeing 120 passing plays, 54% completions, 62 of those were TD's (so 3 receptions short). Taking the yardage down further and that's generally the consistent completion %.

The problem with red zone passing is that you have the same tactics for everything between the 3 and 20 yard line.

Yeah. There needs to be something for inside the 8 or 10. Flood Left type plays are great down there. Not so much at the 15 or 20 when you use your redzone tactics.

Still, I'd guess Xars could get at least some improvement by not leaving his base package in for the 3 or less tactics.

I thought the highest form of flattery was tdiddy making excuses after you beat his team?

To be fair there's no defensive tactics for these things either - if anything they need to be adding some D options for Red Zone before they add additional O options.

I'm thinking that with 2 more seasons at Vet and an incoming Pass O nerf.

Where are you getting this info? GLB2 insider?
