Or maybe the game considers the CB semi-engaged by the TE humping him from behind, and therefor he didn't auto pass the blitz awareness check?

Ya you don't auto pass a blitz awareness check just because it is a straight shot.

Our tackling skills aren't anywhere near capped. Well, save for our safeties, who missed 5 and 3 tackles respectively...somewhat concerning, but they also haven't touched strip tech.

I swear I read that somewhere about a change being made to auto pass a back in the early seasons of GLB2. No idea where to find that though.

You almost have to be running through them for the auto-pass.

On your particular play, it's also possible the behind the back block was "engaged" at the moment he'd have normally attempted the tackle.

Nope, it's a huge reason I have most of the players on my defenses early on hit up blitz awareness fairly hard. I can't stand that shit.

At times he 'reduced' the radius to allow for an auto pass blitz awareness...but really that was for interior runs where the HB was running through the line.


Not sure it ever applied to cornerbacks -- but if so - ya - would have to be pretty much colliding

I was hoping 50 would be enough, I have that on just about all of my normal "blitzing" players. But it appears this is the case where more is better.

- Blitzers now always get "locked in" to pass rush mode and will keep rushing the QB until they get close to the ball or make an awareness check, regardless of if it's a run or pass play. This should allow runs to better beat those edge blitzes.

That is the only part in the changelog outside of "defenders react better to outside runs".

Ya pretty much all of our defenders have 50 or more in rookie right now. And ya we still miss a check here and there but its far less than a lot of other people I see.

GG ICK, passing was something I wasn't expecting you to do. It almost worked too.
