That play is also not very good at stopping the weak off tackle either so it is pretty much not a good play overall unless someone is just running up the middle all day long.

In Vet, the Dime 3-2-6 Edge 2 Buzz limits the GL QB RO Strong to 1.67 YPC (n = 45) while the 5-2 Cat Blitz 2 Roll allows a whopping 6.40 YPC (n = 47). The Dime 3-2-6 Edge 2 Buzz also has a lower Big Play % and a higher TFL%.
The Dime 3-2-6 Edge 2 Buzz also outperforms the 5-2 Cat Blitz 2 Roll in terms of YPC only on the GL QB RO Weak and a lot of other plays at the Vet level.
I don't really know if I'm using the tool correctly though.

I have had far more success against GL now than when I was using Cat Blitz all the time. It just surrenders too many bodies up the middle and gives you less tackle attempts on a HB. That is from my experience DC'ing at the vet level anyways and has been my experience learning from watching others trying to defend GL as well.
I would bet the numbers shown are a bit skewed based on teams that aren't very good.

Actually you can, it's just that most people don't know how to do it. But I can absolutely call a short, medium and inside run defense against your goal line offense based on the down and distance that I prefer.
well you can't set a short goalline defenese, like you can offense
which is one of the reasons why I love using the goalline on O
If that's ever added to tactics, I'll be done with running QBs.
