Probably more so to do with scheduling your own games and following the schedule. These things always get so ridiculously out of control that I lose interest real quick.

Yeah we had some guys who weren't willing to work with us, but did we need to cancel the whole thing? We could always extend the timeframe on the whole thing. It felt rushed, but we can take the time to make it right.

I don't think it's fair to the teams that wanted to represent their leagues to let them play with teams that don't accurately depict how good their league actually is. That's what would happen in a couple leagues right now. And I really overestimated the amount of people who still plan for games, having this run near the playoffs isn't smart.
Next season it'll be back much earlier and we won't have this problem.

Probably best to set it up for just after the 3rd league game - let everyone get through their division once, have some ladder games (so rookie should have a reasonable hierarchy) make selections, play this around midseason.

That was my thought. It wasn't that I didn't want to enter, it was that I knew I would be the one falling behind on scheduling my games.

really appreciate the effort Boss - was a fun idea - and fun for the forums no matter what.
Also highlights how much BETTER it would be if it were official....having a box to check -- and then having the games auto-populated would just add so much culpability and officialness to it. maybe some day!

Pretty much, I check out 3-4 days at a time all the time and I know I am not even the worst of people when it comes to that kind of stuff. These tournaments almost never run smoothly when you have manual scheduling.
