Why is it then our Backup QB threw for more Touchdowns and a better completion percentage than yours did?
Glad we didn't have to play GE in the final... whew

have I stumbled into the twilight zone??
is this sarcasm?
That's what you used to do -- and you'd argue that the Rollout wasn't overpowered (back before it was nerfed)

you are (kind of). Because once I did that and was called on it I stopped (cost us prob 2 trophies).
either way, we had some bad rolls and ICK won. Grats and we'll curb stomp next season

I think one of the biggest things missing from GLB is a system in which the defense catches on to spammed plays. Force the offensive coordinators to mix it up otherwise the maybe they get a penalty to blocking rolls (as if the defenders know what's coming and get the jump on it).

Just a little confused why so many complaints. We had almost no plays out of the goal line go for positive yards in the first two quarters and no huge plays the whole game from the goal line... We should be more frustrated with ourselves than anything.

Mine isn't a complaint directly at you. I just think the goal line run game dominates this sim more than it should. A truly balanced game should have more of a "pick your poison" sort of approach to it. But it's common knowledge, if you want a championship you run the goal line run offense.
Some of the better teams such as yourself throw in a little pass game, but it doesn't change how overpowered that one scheme is. It's a little silly.

I'm actually starting to phase it out of my game plan a little because there are more efficient ways of getting yards on the ground. It'll cost the #1 spot in the HoF for my QB going forward (meaning I won't get it back), but in the long run it will be worth it.
That and to run around the entire D, when I'm pancaking 2-3 guys a play seems like a waste of time lol. Might as well just go right over em instead
However I did seem to get NJ Surge to quit over running the GL/sweep stuff ... so that was fun. Highly recommended

No matter what system there is there are always plays that do better than others. From Madden Football to EA sports hockey. The wildcat in the NFL gave everyone fits until teams started to stop it and now it is almost non existent. Logzilla runs 5 passes. Good luck stopping them.

when you're built to stop the run, of course it's easy to stop the run.

you don't realize this, but not a single player on Compton's defense had more than like 30 in either run stopping skill until we hit Journeyman
