Nope. Like Steve says, QBs block sometimes, and more importantly, morale for all players (including QBs) tracks with team productivity - a team getting stuffed or being forced to punt leads to (small) across the board morale deficits. Lost fumbles are fairly large morale deficits for the rest of the team, too.

This still disproportionately affects QB running teams more than HB running teams because in addition to all those things the QB will be losing much larger chunks of energy and morale when running the ball and being tackled.

Running QBs can invest in conditioning, toughness, and heart to help themselves. I don't think this change putting more value on those skills for a QB is a bad thing.

Yea, every QB will have to do that now. I'm sure thats where teams that just HB run will put their points too. I'm just skeptical this will work exactly like corndog is hoping but hopefully i am wrong. Will just have to wait and see how it plays out.

I just don't see how this balances rushing vs passing offenses more. Seems made up.

On HB run teams the QB is only there to manage the offenses moral. So only the nerf to the boost to offense moral will hurt this type of QB

On a passing team he is there to manage moral and play a huge role himself in passing the ball. Therefore the nerf to leadership boosting QB moral will affect a passing QB as well as the nerf to effectiveness at boosting offense moral.

I honestly don't think it is going to have much affect either way.

I think there are more important issues to change than this one and to be honest would have been hugely disappointed if chemistry wasn't fixed
