Sooooo.... with GODGERS moving his non-S* WR and S* kicker to Hawaii, I assume this means Hawaii's getting Cobb too this offseason?

I think thats the worst place for him to go because they are already tight on cap space another superstar will basically require them to drop players at this point. Any of the passing teams will work. Though Im sure Andes could make room for him. Jims having a decent year without a standout wr. He probably wouldnt get the numbers like in an Air Raid or Lost Lounge but I think it could give Andes a dangerous wrinkle we need in those big games, and Jim has the arm to take advantage of his skills. Probably wont happen but the best teams for him to make an impact on in no particular order: Andes and Glasgow. The other either have a S* focus on offense or dont have the cap to do it without screwing the team over

Getting back to the Ladder and ELO:

I like the greater spread in the Ladder. However, I think it should narrow as the season progresses.

First few Ladder games: Spread of 20 ranks
Next set of Ladder games: Spread of 16 ranks
Third set of Ladder games: Spread of 12 ranks
Fourth set of Ladder games: Spread of 8 ranks
Fifth set of Ladder games: Spread of 4 ranks
etc.

or something similar that can be programmed without too much difficulty.

And RCobb on Hawaii? Now, that would be interesting.

Fine by me. Taurus and Cobb fighting over touches should guarantee Cleveland gets to dominate the Offensive HOF leaderboard again

I'd be lieing though if I didn't drool over the idea of him at WR3 and Fry at TE absolutely making a mockery of all possible pass defenses.

I definitely sent him the obligatory sales pitch PM. Probably funny how badly his inbox blew up after ACs owner went inactive for a bit.

It'd turn Hawaii into the super version of Queen City. Cobb won't put up the same numbers in volume, but his efficiency would be ridiculous with everyone more afraid of Taurus and that running game.

hes got a 176% increased contract if im not mistaken. The cap space they would need to sign him will cost them 2-3 players on an already thin roster. Unless they pile on a ton of conditioning a team with a fast paced offense will wear them down till they cant keep up.

Godgers has already narrowed down his teams for cobb to go to... if you want to know, ask him yourself... don't make random opinions on where he's going

I just thought it was funny that people thought he would go to Hawaii even though it made absolutely no sense.

Unfortunately for you, the current system was designed to indicate how good a team is relative to all teams in GLB at any given time, and that happens to be what it's good at, so it's working perfectly. Perhaps there should be a different way to get what it is you want that doesn't rip apart something that's already doing what it is supposed to do and doing it well.

The ladder is great for getting competitive games in regularly, I don't mind the way it is now and that's why I posted that it should remain the way it is.

I just want leagues to matter more and be the center of competition, the way it was in GLB1. Elite leagues may marginalize the other leagues in the tier as you've said, but the way it is now none of the leagues matter.

Leagues just really need to be balanced out better. They are spread way too thin in some leagues. Europa and Jupiter are great examples at our tier. It's basically Andes and vase breakers league. While you got 6 top 15 teams in Jupiter. They could easily balance it out so you have at least 1 top 16 team in each division. It would solve the problem easily at all levels.

Just wait for 2 or 3 seasons at vet level. I'm expecting a few leagues to rise as the ones that matter the most. We almost have this in professional at the moment with 4 of the top 7 teams in one league with the championship match potentially going to be between the 2 top teams in GLB. If DD weren't folding then it would be entirely possible for that league to contain 5 or 6 of the top 10 teams in the game.
