Yeah, the nerf to blocking interactions has DTs playing like superhumans.

Add on to the top of that the fact that break block and hold ground are much cheaper than run block power and technique, it's pretty easy for a DT to have success shedding blocks.

It would help a lot if you actually acted like an Admin. It's really clear that a lot of us watch the sim a lot more closely than either you or Bort. If you haven't seen an increase in performance from DTs from the start of this season to the end then you are either biased or blind. These are the issues you get when you change the entire sim when 1 play needs tweaking. I fully expect if you stick with your plan of changing the sim because Middle Overload needs tweaked we are going to be in the same boat next season.

Lowering blocking power by 2-3 points isn't what caused DTs to become "superhumans".

Maybe Superhumans is a an exaggeration, but it is a lot harder to run now than it was at the start of the season. Even my terribly built DTs are making plays now.

#1 and #3 teams in the game right now are running teams, so while it may be 'harder to run', that's a pretty weak argument.

No. It's not. You and I both know that wasn't the only change.

Not sure what caused it, but they certainly perform a lot better now than they did before. I don't think superhumans is much of exaggeration, DTs already have the advantage on having cheaper skills in those areas.

Also, that whole DT having a free run on the QB before they can even get a pitch off is bullshit.

He averaged one tackle every other game after the "nerf". Would be a lot less but he had 4 tackles in on game, one in another, then goose egged 7.

My RBs, collaboratively, actually have had a season right on par with last season.

All of those guys you listed are having better seasons this year than they ever had, just with a lot more missed tackles which mean they are getting there hands on RBs more.

An extra 3 tackles a season is pretty far from monstrous superhumans that make it impossible to rush.

Anybody want to buy me a new server? Spending 5 minutes to run a single play to test a tweak, and having my server crash every 15 minutes is making testing sim changes a huge pain in the ass.

3 tackles is what shows up, there is a lot more that goes into a play than what shows up on the stat line.

What type(specs) of hardware are you requiring? I got a ton of equipment back at work that we replace anytime someone gets a good idea to change something.
