Not in this case man, we are still proving ourselves, while you guys are established Top 10. I don't like this matchup, I think it is going to be a shootout.

I'm not for sure, both Alpine and Providence scare me but I think Providence has a great pass defense and a very weak run defense. I'm not for sure Alpine can expose that.

I do believe, there are ways to beat the run, without actually having a team built to stop the run - if you follow me.
Originally posted by Parab00n Of course there is, but that doesn't mean it still isn't a weakness.
Agreed. But I would be interested to see a team that is stout against the run consistently in this current sim. Stopping the run imo currently is containing it.
Can we lose to a running team, yes, and I am sure it will happen in the next few games as teams will just bang the run against us because it is a "weakness," but we also know this as a team, and I that is where developing methods to beat the run without building to beat the run comes in.
I am interested in discussion on run stopping builds, because I have them, just don't think they are currently as beneficial as building in other directions.

Sadly, I don't think stopping the pass or the run is a viable goal currently. Like you said, just got to hope to contain both and hope you get a turnover eventually.

Again, agreed. I hate the turnover game. Sometimes, like in our scrim, Special Teams can make the difference, but hoping you cause a fumble that you recover to win a game, and hoping it doesn't happen to you, are the most nerve wracking games to watch.
#1 DD vs #8 Generals #2 Snails vs #3 Queen City #4 Funday vs #11 TTs #5 Alpine vs #7 Providence #6 Ronin vs #12 Jebs #9 Bruins vs #14 Seahawks #10 Tampa Piranhas vs #13 OG GLB
Oh yeah I forgot that SF and TT played the last week of S2 as well, so it's 3 in a row now.
TT - I don't know what the rankings were at the time but I'd assume it was Erkner in the 2nd to last ladder game last season - last game before your streak of playing SF. But yeah you've been paired up a lot.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, I'm pretty sure I hate this matchup every time too.
