If I get some free time today, I'll set it up.
Originally posted by Rom_Fox is there a numeric score that goes with this? for instance how close are compton, the hornets and the direwolves?
It ends up coming down to a score out of 200. Two 0-100 scores based on different metrics. Best team in the category gets 100. Worst gets 0 and the others are based on how close they are to the top. I don't normally post the scores, but will now. I normally round them, but had to go a little further to break a tie between the Direwolves and Hornets
Darkside Vase Breakers 200 Tampa Bay Rolling Thunder 189 Winterfell Direwolves 170.2 Sacramento Hornets 169.9 Compton Regulators 146 Ntembo 119 Jacksonville Tigers 101 Lakewood Tigers 091 Versailles MAC 072 New York Warriors 051 Chicago Grizzlies 018 Minnesota Annihilators 000
nice - do you have a read on how it predicts future records? like take 10 leagues at the midpoint and see how they end etc.?
tricky given that teams go inactive and so forth
as an aside, I know this is a beta but they have to fix the inactive/cpu team padding of leagues
maybe play a 4 game ladder at the beginning of a season to see who goes inactive before the season starts or something and then you and seed the inactives and cpus together or something of that nature
By this point in the season (usually around game 8), it's pretty solid. The window is around 15-20 points. Anything above that is a win around 90% of the time for the higher ranked squad.
So for the top 4, and most likely the playoff squads.
Darkside should be Winterfell and Sacamento when they play. Against Tampa, it's a toss up.
Tampa is a toss up against everyone.
Winterfell and Sacramento are a flip of a coin against each other or Tampa, but would be facing an uphill battle against Darkside.
I'm with you on that. I'd be happy for a preseason tourny period or a few ladder stuff. Shake out the inactives and then shuffle the leagues.

I guess we determined how that coin flip would work out ; )
i never know what team is going to show up when the Vase Breakers play - glad we got the one that doesn't tie its cleats together this week vs. the regulators (a dangerous team).
Huntsman is racking in wins as fast as he did GOP delegates in 2012
