When you talk about removing WR tags, does this mean that the exploit (which I'm now using too) requiring only 2 plays on D will change?
To clarify a bit. Right now, I only have 2 defensive plays - All Dogs Go and Zero Edge Blitz. I had seen teams doing this and got creamed, then I read about it in a thread somewhere and started doing it. Not given up a point since. Why do we have 'x' number of defensive plays available and the clearly outrageous possibility of 15 per receiver set when we only actually need 2?
I'll stop being an asshole now and simply point out that I think this needs to change. 100% Originally posted by Xavori
Dude, not to be overly snarky, but shutting out two bad teams doesn't a defensive genius make. And I can 100% guarantee you that your awesomesauce new defense will get shredded if you try it against a real team with a real offense.
Those two plays are good in the right circumstances or against the right opponent, but tell me, supergenious, how well do you really think you'd do against Zorp, Djibouti 2.0, Dryden, Glasgow, or the other hundred or so teams that have figured out how to beat pure pressure defenses?Totally understand what people are saying here. Xavori, that's my point. I frickin hate it that this is all that some teams do, so I figured, if you can't beat'em...
But worse than that is the idea that this is even possible
at all I'm not proud of myself, nor am I defensive supergenius (
far from it). I'm raising this because I want to see the Devs do something to make it counter-productive to run a D in this way, cuz it's a joke. So, I wondered if removing the WR tags would be that solution.
