I think it is more telling of your mindset when you equate asking for disclosure, which btw has happened in the past, as somehow being an accusation of cheating. I am just asking for transparency, you guys keep talking about cheating.

Also, I would need to know more about DD to assess his sanity, if that is what you are looking for.

It was more the "you can see our players and tactics, so why can't we see yours"

Was that statement not accurate? He can see our builds any time he wants, closed or not.

You know, these so-called "site admins" can ban accounts too. This constitutes a serious advantage if an admin can ban their opponent from the game any time he wants. Rather than trusting that they won't abuse that ability in order to screw over customers for no reason (because why would we do that), the solution is clear: everyone who accesses the site should have full admin powers. Problem solved!

You guys are a squirrelly bunch, and I can't predict how you think. My default is to be open and honest.

Also, what you are presenting as hyperbole might fly if we were not all aware that worse has actually happened. I have no desire to rehash past transgressions by the staff, and I am sure you do not, either. I am not making an accusation that anyone is cheating, I am asking for transparency. For some reason, you guys want to keep spinning it into you being victims of an accusation, when it is no such thing.

Just as long as the masses don't chase away the admins from playing this game too. I thoroughly enjoy playing against Daggers and Corndog.

They should absolutely play. DB has long opened his builds and has been very transparent about testing and so forth.

I for one am happy the Admins who ban me are playing the game. It provides an avenue for vengeance.

But srsly, Admins should play the game so they know wtf is broken.

GLB 1 very few admins knew what the game was even about, at least here every Admin has some sort of experience with their own product and what's good and what sucks.

Closed builds are not a problem. DD is not a developer AFAIK and doesn't have access to the code.

NO HARM? NO FOUL!

I personally would love to see Bort take a team from Rookie to WL in GLB1 (all his own players) for just one trip and see how much he enjoys it and how good he is at his own game. I mean the sim itself isn't moving anywhere at the moment so why not take the opportunity to play the game yourself with one run and feel the actual experience?

At this point, we are all testers. I am sure this game will change several times over the next 10 seasons.

Oh my god the howls that would happen if a single Bort team existed, and if it narrowly won a close game in the playoffs. Think of how much modding would need to be done in that league forum, let alone GLB main...

To those people I would allow them the choice of moving out of that league so others can partake. Though anyone with a truly competitive spirit and knows wtf they are doing in GLB should be absolutely thrilled at that chance.
