I'm unsure if the Combine have had a WL team before, but in any case it good to see fresh faces up here. This team came up with an age group that hasn't done very well in the WL and it will be tough for them to avoid the same faith. Traditionally relied on a strong defense, but now the offense looks like the cornerstone to success. Dangerous outsider against almost anyone, but probably going to lack consistancy to make the play-offs.

WL veterans checking back in, but with more questions to answer than usual. With Korb gone, will this be the new Dödel top team with lots of focus and cares or will there be some fallout from Disa retiring from co-ordinating? The dot talent is probably there to make the play-offs, but E-City were never one of those teams that could cruise through the regular season. Still, not many promoting teams can say they've won a play-off WL game. This team did it as recently as s27.

Some interesting scrim results, none more so than a recent win over Asau but also losses to average pro teams. I think this team will be in the play-off mix again, but they need a better start than the 0-3 they had last time.

Number 1 seed and did their business in the play-offs, scraping through with a win over a Royal's squad that beat them in the regular season. Their average age is getting pretty high, but being a GD team I am sure the network will move some younger dots over there in the offseason now that they made it to the big show. The poor scrim results don't tell the whole story about this team and it will be interesting to see if GD will focus mainly on 1 team or try to keep both teams up here.

EoF went 8-8 this season, missing the play-offs but proving that having blazzinken as owner doesn't guarantee a losing WL record. I am sure he is as relieved as anyone about that. Will this be the season where coreyls18 comes back to troll the forum as Rosarica rolls from victory to victory? With a good conference draw, I could see this team finally making it. Offense will need to put up lots of points for that prediction to come through.

Their team note doesn't exactly inspire confidence, and the fact is 1man teams don't usually do well here. But the team comes from an age group with Rush Hour, Ego's, Assau and South Bend so they are used to facing quality opponents. Don't let the fake "none" custom eq or rushing AT QB's that throw fool ya, this team know what they are doing and has come to play hard. At least the first 5 games of the season.

They took a huge leap forward in season 27 with 8 straight WL game wins, a play-off win over Alpine AND the GLB tourney victory, but then dropped to 5-11 in season 28 and demoted. I don't know the story, but I can imagine it was co-ordinator fatigue after gameplanning so much the previous season. In any case, they had a quiet season in the Pro's and should be rested for another solid WL showing.

High EL has perhaps made this team a target for finger pointing while being stuck in CPL, but they got it right this season, scoring more than 40 points in all games except one, including the play-offs. They also beat two fellow promotees convincingly in the tourney, eventually placing 4th after close losses to two WL play-off teams. Finding good blitzes for the ROLB will be key because the DE's will not be able to put up the same numbers they did in pro, and the offense can score enough to hang with anyone. Experienced co-ordinators are definitely also a factor for my generous predictions.

Yup, they beat Widow Makers in the CG game to claim the CPL crown in impressive 20-0 fashion, but don't put too much into that, they were in one of the weakest pro conferences. GD teams usually hoover around the play-off bubble and I think this team will too. I rate them higher than Padre's, in part because of the EL difference, but it could be a case of whichever team starts the best will receive most attention.

We all know the Canton incarnation of this team had plenty of chances to win the WL, getting the #1 seed three times and the #2 seed once in 4 consecutive seasons. But bad Mojo (!) kept them from ever going as far as they should have. They slipped up in their first pro season, going 16-0 and getting knocked out in r1, but that is very much a tiny spot on an otherwise glowing resume. Typically, the responds was a 20-0 season, winning against a play-off team with a K playing QB and never even coming close to be upset before securing a WL berth. Absolutely dominated their conference. WL will take more cares, but watch out.

Hell yeah, this seems to finally be the season where all the highest rated pro teams didn't choke. SCM collides with the WL after 2 agonizing losses in the CCG in their previous 16-0 seasons. 14-2 and 3-0 is doinitrite. There's still much to prove, and I expect especially DS to pick on these rookies in what could become the most trash talking offseason we've had in recent history. I expect many cares and a gut wrenching last game to decide their ultimate fate.

On we go to SLAP and one of the closest pro conferences, where DS bring another new team into the WL. The extended plateau has been huge for this network and allowed them to dominate pro even with their 5-6-7th teams. Crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if this team gets somewhat reloaded, which is scary because they are pretty good to begin with. However, in each of the last two seasons we've also seen a DS team get demoted (Mojo, saved by gutting Clash, and Komodo). If a DS team is to go down, this would be my favourite.

Rookies usually struggle and I can't pick every team to have a good season. I'm afraid the majority of WL teams are just better. GL

Looked like the 2nd best team in the conference for much of the season, but found a hole in Orlando's Big I defense to secure victory in the one game that really counts, crafty stuff! There's always one promoting team that leaves you scratching your head, and this is the team for me. Started off underleveled in pro, but got to plateau, made the play-offs and kicked everyone's ass. No scrims at all, a mix of 3 and 4 aeq dots and insane EL. So much boom or bust over these guys and it's probably impossible to gauge exactly how good they are, but screw it. I'm tipping them to make it, and not only that, but also predicting they can reverse the play-off curse that has haunted Mayans for seasons, beating two DS teams on their way to the championship game, Boom indeed.
