but when Dodel pulled this shit in one of the pro leagues admins reversed the outcome - of course, they were far more blatant in their throwing of games

you could say the same thing about the lesser network team that had the game thrown to them - play it straight up and if you can't make the playoffs fair and square let the team demote, but for many seasons we see manipulation to keep teams up here - perhaps a change to promotion / demotion rules when teams gut and / or other changes since manipulation is becoming as important as winning to some of these networks
