So, out of the following -- SPD, AGI, STR, CAR, - or - SPD, AGI, CAR, STR -- which order is preferable?

SPD > AGI = CAR > STR > VIS > STAM > CON > JMP

Thread delivers, thanks, I couldn't stop laughing.

Also, I have always wished I had the 10 SP back I spent to cap catching on my CB. It was a complete waste.

Had to look it up. This thread reminds me of a statistical argument I had over the old version of streaky in the D-Line forum: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4290584&page=2#38521978

Funny how cluelessness abounds in this game...

I remember that thread--almost blew a gasket.

This almost brought a tear to my eye (the joyful variety). That thread was pure gold, in fact, so was this: "If there are two hotdog stands, one selling six inchers and the other foot-longs and there are 500 blondes at each stand, how many bad-days is each stand going to endure and which stand will have the biggest streak? Anyone know?"

we've been over this. not only is production at low levels often very lol (of course more rounded out dots are going to excel here), but so is effective lvl. the math behind why this is is really pretty easy.

Maybe it's all in your head.

I don't know if that's just me...

If this thread gets past 7 pages, I'm going to throw it in to the ring for nomination of the author needing comprehension training.

I could point out how my dot is doing better than both of them...

Even though that's NOT the point of this thread at all.

40 CBs with tackling in the single digits?

I can understand CBs want to be fast and agile, but what good is it to get to an O player quickly only to get shrugged off because they cannot tackle worth spit.

Look at my 40 day old CB

(Lv. 16 CB)

Additional Abilities
Wrap Up Tackle: 0

last season he was targeted 55 times, allowed 21 receptions (he stopped 62% of passes sent his way), 7 PD, 1 INT (for a 39 yard TD).

Speed 69 (with +12 Eq) and Agility 52 means he can get to O players quickly.

Strength 34.95 and Tackling 51 mean that very few escape his grasp when he gets there (only 1 missed tackle all regular season).

Jumping 30 gives him a good shot at deflections even though Catching 19 does not allow many picks (yet...).

Stamina 29 means that he gets 60 plays a game. His speed will get built up a bit (and his blocking as well, since he was built as a ST CB.

Why don't more guys build CBs that can... I don't know... tackle?

I do see a place in the world for your CB. I'm building a shitty one as well (as far as CB's go), but I am building him to be an OLB/SS/Cover in a pinch type who can just stay on the field and make plays when his build matures.

Still doesn't get it. Talk to me in 5 seasons and we'll compare builds and performance.

This is some of the funniest stuff ive seen in ages! Einar bro, you have it all wrong. You cant tackle what you cant catch, and you cant catch what you cant see. Capiche?

This is where i can see the OP's point though i agree and relate to yours...
5 seasons = 10 months
He's already enjoyed two months and have probably another four/five months of what he considers success with his dots before they start to be outplayed. Then it will be time to retire, since it's become increasingly harder to game any stats by putting overleved dots in leagues they dont belong in, and start fresh from the gate with balanced building.

OP doesnt give a shit about end builds and reaching the WL/Elite Pro leagues.
Power to him.
Lousy thread title though since his lab work is done in lolLeagues, not the ones that most of us have major cares for where all the CBs have decent to good tackling...
