was what I was getting too, but you just came right out and said it LOL

Lincoln is fine though, I'm not sure I've ever seen them recruit more than 1-2 dots/season. I think they will be OK

It seems that it latches onto the first play it calls too, whether it's good or bad, it will run that damn play 3-4 more times before it moves on. So you either got a good first 5 plays or a terrible first 5 plays.

How could it be broken on passes but good on runs?

My only guess is that it sees a completion as success, not total yards?

to be fair there is a bit more going into a pass play situation. if you figure your QB is doing pretty well at 65% completion .. you need to factor that into the AA speed and %'s on the plays no? a D scheme has more variability in the passing game than run. you either have a good run D setup for a formation/play or you don't. it doesn't change too much on each call unless yo uget a nice RNG on your DT/NT

Because the apathetic teams got that way by being consistently successful, while the hungry teams are usually that way because they haven't had success. It's a Catch-22. As noted, I felt a responsibility to the people who signed with Providence and tried to make this season worth their while, then apologized to them when it wasn't. But the reality is being up here season after season will burn you out eventually.

RNG can still fuck a D.

I stopped a certain counter 12 times for under 3 yards then it randomly spit out my "emergency" D at 10% and gave up a 80 yard TD. FML

I get being burnt out.. We've had a team in WL since season 11.. but still.. like you I'm not going to half ass playoff games and then tell people about in the forums. F that.. I would never expect to sign another recruit again.

If it ever comes to that.. I'll gladly step aside for someone who cares.

True, but there are usually subtle changes in the sim each season and even during the season....you wont catch those in Pro ball when you are winning 100-0 every other day.

side note: cant wait for Acc Player Development, I strongly feel like that will make GLB top heavy, where it needs to be and WL will still be great and all the pro leagues will be good again!

unless of course you are not doing the work on all of them.

But not much success until lately. Plus you've got a lot of people to help share the coordinating load for your various teams, which is where the real stress comes in.

Thankfully the tournaments give you some feedback. This season in particular the best Pro teams have been hanging right with the WL competition, and often beating them.

Pro sucks because not enough people are creating dots and teams. I called that back in S9 when I noticed that a lot fewer well-organized teams were being formed as in S4/S5. Maybe accelerated development will change that, but the game really needs new blood, and I don't know that it's ever going to get it.
