I haven't gotten this much attention in Gold in like 6 seasons, this is great!
The irony in all of this is I have worked with LE, RK, and Gerr in great length over the course of my GLB existance. LE showed me the ropes in pee-wee and we had a little click between Thunder, LE, and myself back in the day (and bstracker!). Then RK and I started chatting up while MMD was still around and when I pulled the "competitive plug" on MMD I hopped onto Maine as I thought he was a great owner that I wanted to build some dots for. Gerr has been apart of my upper level team for 6 seasons or so now and all we do there is win trophies (except this year, dammit).
You're all great guys, good for pee-wee, and awesome to be around.
To clear up the Maine thing, if it hasn't been beaten to a dead horse by now.. the builds have always been RK's thing. When I first started with Maine there was no "build guide" on the team forum. RK messaged each agent their guides to follow and he's blessed unlike so many others that he has a great core of agents that buy into his system and follow it. He leaves us room for experimenting which mccollums and I both take advantage of at times, and sometimes RK sees what he likes and tweaks his builds the following seasons. He's just like any great owner that sees the big picture, asks us to follow it, and is open to our feedback and ideas if we think something can be done better.
This season he gave me reigns on O and was up front with all the other agents that assisted me that it was my O to run and I got the final say and it worked for us in the end after a rough start of me adapting to the sim after not really paying attention to pee-wee for a couple seasons. It was a blessing for both of us. I didn't have to update 55 builds on my own team, he didn't have to game plan everyday after carrying a nazi schedule the past 10 seasons, and we all clicked as a unit in the end. Eagle ran the O in the tournies and brought us a nice AAT as I only had time to game plan every other day.
Simple as that.
