WEEK 7 RANKINGS
LION

1 Guyana Punch (7-0) - The last undefeated team in Lion. They came out and rammed the ball down the AquaBats throat as they controlled the clock and shut out San Diego for 4 quarters. Not an easy feat.

2 CWE (6-1) - A great defensive performance as they slowed down the Pirates offense and only gave up 10 points to that unit.

3 Somalia Pirates (6-1) - Went into the 4th Q down by 4 before CWE put up 10 points to put the game out of reach.

4 Zambezi Silverbacks (5-2) - An easy and expected win as they ride an easy 2 week stretch.

5 San Diego (4-3) - Struggled to keep their offense on the field today as GP shut them out for 4th quarters.

6 Philly Franklins (5-2) - Shut down the Longhorns run game and coasted to another win.

7 Mega City Monsters (4-3) - Took an early expected lead and never looked back.

8 Lincoln (4-3) - Did all they had to for the win against MMM and I still don't know where this team stands this season.

9 Oklahoma Outlaws (4-3) - Had the game well in hand before tearing off 28 points in the 4th Q to completely put the Assassins to bed.

10 Nile River Assassins (2-5) - A few turnovers hurt them but they were just outplayed today and shutout in the 2nd half.

11 Transylvania (3-4) - Barely scratched over 100 yards of offense out as they fell to another top team.

12 Texas Longhorns (1-6) - Couldn't get much done against one of the better teams in the conference. Managed to strike first but after that it was all Philly.

13 Nuremberg Nighthawks (1-6) - Could not keep up with the Monsters as their offense struggled to find the endzone.

14 Manchester Mass Murderers (1-6) - The run game wasn't there but it's unlikely that would have changed the outcome this time around.

15 Cape Verde Aces (1-6) - As both teams struggled to run the ball the Aces won behind a more effective passing game.

16 Medicine Hat Witch Doctors (0-7) - Another loss.

ELEPHANT

1 Carthage Mad Clash (7-0) - It took overtime but this team is still undefeated.

2 A7 (7-0) - Didn't get much out of their ground game but had a few big plays and some great defense on the field today.

3 Warriors (6-1) - Coasting through an easy stretch.

4 RMT (6-1) - RMT officially owns the rights to be Rocky Mountains sole representative this season

5 Nairobi (5-2) - A hell of a game and the closest one against CMC this season. They gave up a 91 yd TD run off a pitch play in OT to fall short though.

6 Gotta Have More Cowbell (6-1) - Defense, defense, defense. This unit got 21 points out of theirs this week to come away with the win

7 WWR (4-3) - Still no run support and 3 turnovers turned into 21 points for the wrong team.

8 Sons (4-3) - A close game after 3 quarters but then the Sons put it to bed in the 4th Q scoring 2 TDs to put it out of reach.

9 ICB (4-3) - Just suffered their worst loss of the season but the next 4 weeks are a solid shot at making it to 8-3.

10 49ers (2-5) - After an impressive string of games that showed improvement they suffered a big step back as they were blown out and shutout.

11 ECS (4-3) - The 4 week win streak is nice but the next 6 weeks will decide this teams fate this season now that some top teams are on tap.

12 ABD (1-6) - An admirable performance but they let the opportunity slip away in the 4th quarter.

13 BSS (0-7) - Have a shot at a win next week before things get rough again for 4 weeks.

14 Guyana (1-6) - Couple of rough weeks ahead.

15 Norfolk (1-6) - Got their first win and get a struggling BSS team next week.

16 New Jersey Juggernauts (0-7) - Another loss.

WEEK 9 RANKINGS
LION

1 Guyana Punch (9-0) - After coasting the last 2 weeks they get to face off against Somalia. A win there would almost guarantee the Punch the #1 seed already.

2 CWE (8-1) - With their only loss coming against Guyana this team is rooting for the Punch opponents weekly to help their case for the top seed.

3 Somalia Pirates (8-1) - A pretty thorough dismantling of Zambezi gets them ready for a game with Guyana.

4 Zambezi Silverbacks (6-3) - Couldn't get anything going against Somalia and now they face off against the Monsters in what could be turning into a very convoluted battle for the 4th seed.

5 San Diego (6-3) - The schedule the next few weeks is a great chance for them to move up in the rankings before they face Somalia and Mega.

6 Philly Franklins (7-2) - Should be able to pull two more wins before they face CWE in what should be a great game. Still plenty of ground to gain/lose though with Zambezi and Guyana still on tap.

7 Mega City Monsters (5-4) - With Zambezi, Guyana, Oklahoma and San Diego the next 4 weeks and Somalia in week 16 there's still no guarantee they'll make the playoffs.

8 Lincoln (5-4) - Battled it out with Philly 2 weeks ago in a close loss and now they have to face CWE.

9 Oklahoma Outlaws (5-4) - The 5-4 teams are going to have a hell of a time sorting this mess out the next few weeks.

10 Nile River Assassins (3-6) - At this point it's hard to see them finish at .500.

11 Transylvania (3-6) - Same story as Nile.

12 Texas Longhorns (2-7) - Shot at a win with the Aces up next.

13 Nuremberg Nighthawks (1-8) - Haven't been competitive the last 4 weeks but they do get MMM next so that should be good for them.

14 Manchester Mass Murderers (1-8) - Shot at their second win next week. The schedule is pretty brutal and they're probably looking at 3 wins max this season.

15 Cape Verde Aces (1-8) - Very likely they get demoted to a league they should have been in this season.

16 Medicine Hat Witch Doctors (0-9) - Another loss.

ELEPHANT

1 Carthage Mad Clash (9-0) - Next 4 weeks will be the last challenges this team faces this season if we can call any game to date a challenge.

2 A7 (9-0) - Will coast the next 3 weeks before they finish off the season playing 4 tough teams, kicked off by a week 13 game at Carthage most likely for the top seed.

3 Warriors (8-1) - After an easy 4 weeks they get back to business with Carthage up next followed by WWR, RMT, Cowbell and Nairobi.

4 Nairobi (7-2) - Playing some great ball lately and it's hard to see them taking another loss this season but there's still 4 tough teams left to play.

5 RMT (7-2) - After holding off Cowbell 2 weeks ago they fell short against Nairobi when the Warthogs blew up for 21 in the 4th Q.

6 Gotta Have More Cowbell (7-2) - Tough game against the Warthogs coming up and this team is still in jeopardy of sliding a little in the standings with a rough final 4 weeks. I don't see them falling much further though.

7 Sons (6-3) - Another easy week coming up but then they have to play 5 tough games that could cement their playoff standings or push them right out of the picture.

8 ICB (6-3) - Looking like the Sons, ICB and WWR will be fighting it out for the final 2 spots in the playoffs.

9 WWR (5-4) - With only 3 games looking like easy wins left on schedule the Rhinos need to turn it up a notch the next 5 weeks.

10 49ers (2-7) - The schedule will ease up a lot now and this team still has a shot at going 8-8 but the playoffs are likely out of the picture.

11 ECS (4-5) - They may be just under .500 right now but I don't see them getting over 6 wins this seasons unless they can pull some upsets.

12 ABD (1-8) - Could be looking at a 3-4 win season just one season after finally getting their first playoff win.

13 BSS (1-8) - Last 4 weeks of the season give them a few shots at another win.

14 Guyana (1-8) - They'll get a little break after A7.

15 Norfolk (1-8) - Don't see another win on this schedule.

16 New Jersey Juggernauts (0-9) - Another loss.

WEEK 10 RANKINGS
LION

1 Somalia Pirates (9-1) - Two thorough spankings back to back against two good teams. Guess who's back on top.

2 Guyana Punch (9-1) - Ouch. The Punch held the top spot for a week before falling hard to the Pirates.

3 CWE (8-2) - The defense gave up some big plays that let this game get out of hand.

4 Zambezi Silverbacks (7-3) - Stellar defensive performance as they held the Monsters scoreless until midway through the 3rd Q.

5 San Diego (7-3) - Another week of coasting before they hit the road to face Somalia.

6 Philly Franklins (8-2) - Looking good sitting at 8-2 and next week should go smoothly. They still have CWE, Zambezi and Guyana though so they can't ease up much.

7 Lincoln (6-4) - Got absolutely nowhere trying to run the ball but damn if that passing game didn't come up with some huge plays today. 3 scoring plays averaged 73 yards a piece. Incredible day for their QBs. With a schedule starting to ease up this team only needs to beat a few top teams to see their stock rise further.

8 Mega City Monsters (5-5) - Mega couldn't get much done today and with Guyana, Oklahoma, AquaBats and Somalia still left they could still slide out of playoff contention. Week 12 against the Outlaws will be a must win.

9 Oklahoma Outlaws (6-4) - Still have 4 tough teams on the schedule. Really looks like the 8 seed will come down to the Outlaws and Mega.

10 Nile River Assassins (3-7) - Nile has a shot at picking up at least 2 wins in the next 3 weeks if not 3 wins. Then things get tough again.

11 Transylvania (3-7) - Get a little break with Nile and MHWD up the next 2 weeks. Should go 1-1 at worst.

12 Texas Longhorns (3-7) - Picked up a nice win but the next 4 weeks will be hard for Texas.

13 Manchester Mass Murderers (2-8) - Took an early 7-0 lead into halftime but then they gave up 10 points to fall behind by 3. They stuck with it though and grinded out 4 FGs to take the lead and victory.

14 Nuremberg Nighthawks (1-9) - Couldn't keep MMM off the scoreboard the last 20 minutes of the game as they gave up 4 FGs after taking a 3 point lead in the 3rd.

15 Cape Verde Aces (1-9) - Another loss. Two chances at another win left on the schedule.

16 Medicine Hat Witch Doctors (0-10) - Another loss.

ELEPHANT

1 A7 (10-0) - A7 moves up and they are the last undefeated team still standing in APL. All this and they're still in the middle of an easy stretch of games that should get them to 12-0 before they face CMC.

2 Warriors (9-1) - The Warriors had a great 2nd Q that put them ahead by 13. That proved to be enough in the end as they held off CMCs comeback attempt in the 4th.

3 Carthage Mad Clash (9-1) - Carthage takes their first loss but are they just hiding things before the playoffs. Either way they lost so they fall even if I don't feel they're the 3rd best team here.

4 Nairobi (8-2) - Dominated Cowbell pure and simple. 16 freaking sacks for a loss of almost 70 yards. Amazing game.

5 RMT (7-3) - Tough loss against ECS and very unexpected. They failed to hold off a late surge by the Snackers that led to their loss.

6 Gotta Have More Cowbell (7-3) - Very rough game against the Warthogs and this team needs to stay on top of things the next 2 weeks and not overlook their opponents. The last 4 weeks will be brutal and have seeding ramifications.

7 Sons (7-3) - It's been an easy couple of weeks around here but now they have CMC, WWR, RMT, Cowbell, Nairobi and a rising ECS team to finish off the season. Make or break time indeed.

8 ICB (7-3) - Another easy game coming up but, like Soa, they don't get another break the rest of the season.

9 WWR (6-4) - With ABD starting to show some sparks it's looking like the Rhinos only have one gimme game left. They'll have to pull out all the stops if they want to make the playoffs this season.

10 ECS (5-5) - Hell of a 4th Q by this team with a huge play to score the tying TD and then slipping into the endzone again with just over 2 minutes left for the win.

11 ABD (2-8) - Finally get a solid win and the schedule is cupcake the next 3 weeks if they perform like that the rest of the way.

12 49ers (2-8) - Should pick up 4 more wins this season but the early promise they showed has slowly faded at this point.

13 BSS (1-9) - Looking at 3 more tough weeks.

14 Guyana (1-9) - ABD seems to be waking up so GG could be looking at another rough 2 weeks ahead.

15 Norfolk (1-9) - Still don't see another win on this schedule.

16 New Jersey Juggernauts (0-10) - Another loss.

We are trying... sigh.

After this embarrassing season, a restart may be in order.
Shit is pathetic.

Yeah - kind of dumb-founded with the play this season. Returned most of the team from last season and thought the additions were improved. I guess everyone got better as well.

dont worry Steve. I think we are going to see a huge turnover in the National Pro leagues the next 2 seasons. even if my Warriors can win APL this season, we will go 2-14 in WL. A competetive WL roster seems so far away right now.

A lot of turnover, but the ABD remains the same.

WL is a whole other beast. No doubt.

I'm not ok with it... The Rhino agents and our alliance expect and deserve better then that.
We'll keep plugging away though! Season isn't over yet!
