Apparently, the OPL are currently waiting to get their butts kicked. Lets get this thing in motion.

Looks like SLAP only has 18 teams right now...

The OPL is going to do a Coaches Poll to rank their teams I guess, so i think that we should do the same. Have a representative from each team(somebody with knowledge of the game, and the teams in teh APL0 in the challenge rank the teams in the challenge. We can use a numbering system along the lines of the team that is ranked 1st gets 24 points, the second ranked teams gets 23 points and on down the line to the 24th ranked team getting 1 point. The more points you get, the higher the ranking.

Hopefully, we can get people to rank honestly, so that we aren't sandbagging teams and what not.

someone should start a APL tourney thread. Canton knocked DADDY out of the GLB tourney. Have another WL team up tomorrow morning. I'd be curious how you guys are doing and who is still alive in those.

EDIT: We are done after this season. Too much to take.

we've now beaten 2 opl teams in scrims in a row. tbh, i thought this was part of the challenge but i guess we haven't gotten it rolling yet. it would be nice if these count but i'm sure we can beat these teams again:

I know the feeling..but it always gets better - even in real life teams go up and down..Last season was the first in a few that we made the playoffs.

I don't think we need all 24 coaches to put in input, but at least 3-5 people that pay attention to the league probably should. Maybe create a thread for it, and I'll post my updated list. Sandman's the page before is pretty good too.

Why not just effective level + current record and then average that for the rankings....by the time everything is done with all the "this and that", the season will be done.

The ideal time for league challenges is Day 20-30. Plenty of time to get the teams set up and before the playoffs. We still have a week before that. So, I think this week we just need to get the match ups set, which should be done in the next couple days even with manually ranking teams.
