I always put on shoulder pads and a helmet to watch replays of the Masterminds. But hell no that doesn't make me a MMORPG nerd.

What, never heard of a LARPer? They're farther down on the nerd hierarchy scale than RPGers, but just above the V-LARPers (Vampire Live action role players). VLARPers are usually the ones getting the game convention thrown out of the hotel (for pretending to bite the other guests or other such nonsense).

But, yeah, obviously you can D&D without playing dress up. It goes something like this:

I just do a headset and a clipboard, and sometimes a sweater.

Or live in their parents' basement. Not that they're saying there's anything wrong with that...

Holy balls. At first I was just kidding. Now you guys are really starting to make me feel uncomfortable here...

If you live in your parents basement OR play D&D, fine by me. If you live in your parents basement AND play D&D, you prob need to reevaluate the life plan assuming you're over 18.

It's still illegal to sleep with the 16-year-old, at least that's the legal advice I've gotten.
