NBA is terriball anyhow. Who really cares?

@Nib - Lebron doesn't know more about marketing than you, me or anyone else. He's a HS graduate, barely, who forces his teams to hire his posse.

I didn't post it as commentary on basketball.

Simmons comes off looking like a moron yet again... Big shock...

The fact is, Jordan had one of the top 50 players on his team... Not in the league, but of ALL TIME... I do believe however that his ego would've been too large for him to have ever not been the league's highest player and join forces with 2 other great players...

Also, didn't Simmons's beloved Celtics pretty much do the exact same thing, just with older players that were in the top 15 in the league when they got traded?

Bird had Parrish and McHale... They didn't exactly suck.

Magic had Kareem... two of the top 10 players of all time... Brutal.

The fact is, LeBron gave Cleveland every opportunity in the world to keep him... Had they made one decent move while he was there, he has a ring by now, and he doesn't feel the need to chase one at all costs... It says a lot that he was willing to take a pay cut to leave his hometown...

And LOL at the Bulls for signing Boozer as a last-ditch attempt to get Lebron... Had Boozer honored his word when the Cavs released him to reward him with a better contract, Lebron has a ring by now... Signing Boozer pretty much assured that Lebron would never choose Chicago...

In the end though, the NBA still sucks...

Pretty sure this had more to do with not getting Bosh than getting Lebron

Bill Simmons has never been a great analyst or even a good sports reporter. All he is is a giant homer who panders to Boston area fans.

He is humorous

Okay, if you go to ESPN looking for a laugh instead of sports information, I guess he's not bad.

lol@ the bulls indeed. What they NEEDED to do was to get LeBron and Bosh together and tell them they could both join Chicago, and leave Boozer out of it. Boozer is not nearly as complimentary for LeBron as Bosh.

That would have been the best team LeBron could have joined, imo.
