I ain't bettin' against a team that has dominated the league so far, but this wouldn't be a cakewalk for them either. The Munkeys are averaging a lot of points on offense but the Doom have only let double digit scores twice this season. That may change to 3 here as of right now there is no starting defense for the Doom, so I guess they are trying to hide something, lol.
Amsterdam Smokers over Oslo Norsemen L 23-26
The Smokers are a solid team that has been riding their defense of late and look for their 3rd straight shut-out. The Norsemen are making strides on the league but still aren't up to the level of the mid to top teams, they have a few playmakers but overall they are basically still building.
Athens Nighthawks over Dublin Boghoppers L 3-10
The Nighthawks are reeling over the loss late week, and should rebound here while holding onto the ball better this game. The Boghoppers are on a streak that has seen them hit a stride on offense and hope they can continue that. Against this good defense it will be tough. Nighthawks take this close one.
Brussels Massacre over Iceland Dream Team W 13-9
This is a battle of overachievers, as both have won against lower opponents and have lost to higher opponents. The Massacre seem to have held in there during some of their loses with their good defense. IDT is a solid team that is on the verge of being a contending team, and they still continue the streak here in another close one.
Amsterdam Red Lights over Burnt Orange Rising W 34-10
ARL is a team with good depth and completely out match this opponent. Rising is still a young team who got behind the eight ball during the FA frenzy and is still paying for it, they are however growing and the scores are getting closer.
Dayton <-FnA-> over Coventry Terror L 3-22
No description necessary, we should win.
Barcelona Admirals over Arlington Avalanche L 27-31
Neither one of these teams are living up to their potential they have on paper but the Avalanche hasn't scored in 3 straight games, if they don't change something soon their season could be over.
Maniac Shadows over Syracuse Slashers W 40-7
The Shadows have a solid passing game if they could limit the INT's and the Slashers have only 4 INT's this season. The Slashers are improving but they are still dealing with inactive's and playing CPU's.
Man that sucked 4-4 this week but still not bad since 75% of the loses were by 7 or less points, hehe

Rough patch of picks...there were a lot of upsets in the league this time though too...although some of us are just kind of figuring out how to hit our stride.
No kidding.
Thank you Oslo! Now we've got a shot at jumping the Smokers two games from now.

Your welcome. =) Will try to provide a few more upsets yet this season. =)
The Munkeys defense seems to be losing some steam lately, or the rest of the leagues offense's are catching them, but they have allowed double digit scores the last 3 games. Anyway, the offense is still clicking and with a 343 yard passing performance in their last win against a very stout defense proves they ain't slowing down for anyone. The Nighthawks offense seems to be out of rhythm lately, only scoring 12 in the last 2 games, both losses. This team is on the rise, and full of league leaders but can't seem to gather everyone on the same page in the same game, which they will have to do here to have a chance.
Amsterdam Smokers over Coventry Terror
The Smokers are reeling over the stunning loss last week but should regroup and rebound in this game as their offense clearly overpower the opposing defense. The Terror are starting to come around and play to there potential and the offense looks decent but the defense, while getting better just isn't quite up to the offense of this opponent.
Dublin Boghoppers over Brussels Massacre
This game is a game that was close to a draw as I see it, but I am going with the Boghoppers here because they allow less points on defense than the Massacre and the Boghoppers held the Munkeys to fewer points. Both are riding win streaks of 4 or more and should provide a great game here.
Dayton <-FnA-> over Glasgow Doom
I don't care who the favorite is, I still ain't picking my team to lose. *on knees praying*
Amsterdam Red Lights over Iceland Dream Team
I really wish IDT would've capitalized Team so I didn't have to change it every other day, lol. Back to the game, ARL is riding a win streak against weaker opponents but their loses where close to the top guys. Their rushing attack seems to be picking up steam here of late and should do OK against this average rushing defense. IDT is riding on the wrong side of the tracks kind of streak and it looks to continue here, they should be able to move the ball and score a few points but I don't think they can stop ARL and their offense.
Maniac Shadows over Arlington Avalanche
Both teams are 'through the air' type of team and only rush when they have too. Although both teams have a good passing attack, the Shadows defend it better. This will be an aerial show with the Shadows coming out on top as the Avalanche own the 2nd worst pass defense in the conference.
Oslo Norsemen over Barcelona Admirals
The Norsemen are pumped with the upset of the year last week and with good game planning and high chemistry they could pull out some more this year. The BCS computer has them as the underdog here but I don't think so. The Admirals have lost some heartbreakers and it might continue here. They could stay with them if its a low scoring game but in the end they might come up short.
Syracuse Slashers over Burnt Orange Rising
Somebodies got to win, I just flipped a coin and it said the Slashers. The loser of this game is in real danger of not winning one all year and being regulated to the D-Leagues.
I think you could be 7-1 again this week. There really are some coin flips this go round. If Dayton really does upset the Doom THAT will be the upset of the year, but I wont dare put it past you. I don't get to beat either of you till next week.
The Norsemen did me a great service yesterday, they got us all riled up coming into the the tough part of our schedule.
