To be fair, it was a close game and a couple bounces this way and that and we're looking at different results. But to blame the loss completely on the CPU changing your game plan isn't entirely true either.
Looking at the stats, the Jags passed the ball about 18 more times, but most of those came when you HAD to pass. As far as I understand it, it changes your gameplan depending on whats working and whats not, and on the actual situation of the game. The game was extremely close until we scored a TD with 10:39 left in the fourth, putting the score at 17-6. At this point your run : pass splits went 4:15 because you HAD to pass.
If you look at the play-by-play too, the drives where your team passed more were actually more productive than when they ran more (especially early in the game). In fact, the total splits for your only two scoring drives were 8:12, run to pass.
I'm sure the AI did affect your plans, but it's not like we had nothing to do with it. Other than a 17 yard pitch (with a missed tackle), the Jags gained 10.5 yards on 7 carries in the first quarter.
Sorry, not trying to rain on your parade... I've got the utmost respect for the Jaguars. Going into the game, I felt like the Jags had the better roster, and I still do. I just don't think that we won that game just because of a missed setting; I'd like to think those hours of recruiting and planning had something to do with it too.
