Was I the only one who thought "wat" when Valhalla actually used the 5WR formation and didn't get punished?

I did, but I think I've seen somewhere that alloy said the blitz doesn't work on Val

not sure about "best game in GLB History"
Was a good game because it was close, but in watching it you basically knew a shitload of passes into triple coverage would be completed and almost every play was going to be a pass. The exciting plays were more when the D got an interception or a fumble

It is very iffy, might be a sack 1/4ish times.

It was like a flag football game, if the defense was not allowed to make any contact.
I still think it was a great game, though. A purist will certainly not enjoy the defensive results, but the last 23 plays or so were about as suspenseful and exciting as you can get. Especially the last 3. (Not counting the kickoffs which were obviously going to be loltouchbacks... although even the tying extra point was suspenseful as I had already seen Lincoln's kicker miss an XP in the other conference championship game.)
A lot of times a "great game" is rated by the ending moreso than the overall balance of play.

Yep, and the problem with that is they still have 2 other downs to complete a 15 yard pass with a ~65% success rate.

I am not talking about game mechanics, strategy, nerfing, whatnot. What I am saying is that when the two best teams score a combined 125 points when they play each other something is VERY wrong. How often have you seen a Superbowl with 125 points?
why does it matter how often we see a superbowl with 125 points scored? if you took the best offensive players in the NFL on the field and put almost everyone back in coverage and let Peyton Manning and Tom Brady wing the ball around with all the time in the world...you would probably see similar results.

their WR's are too quick on their routes to kill it.

We sacked them twice in three attempts.
