After an extended absence, we're back...
1 Ivory Coast Breakers (15-0) 4-0 since the last ranking means no doubt who owns this spot and they've locked up the number one seed. No offense to Covington, but the only suspense for next game is to see if HB Tiger Bay runs for more yds than QB Colt Stinger passes for. Next up: Covington (6-9)
2 Angola Blood Diamonds (13-2) 3-1 since the last rankings, with the only loss of that bunch being to ICB. Next game determines the no.2 seed, and it should be a doozy of a GAME OF THE WEEK. Next up: MaRawk!! o (13-2)
3 MaRAWK!! o (13-2) 4-0 since the last, and an 11 game win streak going. Absolutely smoked Uganda last week, handing the Sexy Ones their worst loss of the season. Might have been enough to bump up to 2 had I taken more time to look at it - but no matter really, 2 and 3 get their chance to settle it on the field. Or at least settle who has to play in ICB's side of the playoff bracket. Next up: ABD (13-2)
4 Kilimanjaro Sting (11-4) 3-1 since last ranking, with the only loss being to ICB, playing the Breakers closer than anyone else this season (19-27), in part thanks to 13 unanswered to end the game. Important game next, as the winner gets a home playoff game. Oh yeah, GAME OF THE WEEK 2 (all-caps means its srs bzns). Next up: TDP (11-4)
5 The Dead Presidents (11-4) A strong last 4, dropping only one, to ABD, while racking up wins v. Uganda and MMM. GotW2 next: Sting (11-4)
6 Uganda Silverbacks (11-4) 2-2 in the last 4, including an embarrassing 52 point loss to MaRawk last game. The Silverbacks just couldn't get the ball out of MaRawk's hands. Hopefully for the adoring Ugandan public it was a wakeup call to the Sexy Beasts. A home playoff game is out of the question at this point, but they should still take care of business next game: Santa Ana (6-9)
7 Kalahari Bushmen (11-4) No respect, Bushmen, no respect. Beat TDP and MaRawk early in the season, but like Paula Abdul asked the musical question: What Have You Done For Me Lately? The Bushmen train was going strong early, but has dropped four straight and 5 of their last 6. All of those to very good teams, and no doubt the Bushmen have a shot at winning the playoff rematch, but will need to make some adjustments. Next up: Nigerian (3-12)
8 Mayotte Metal Militia (9-6) 2-2 last 4 games, with a helluva roller coast ride for the fans. A loss to MaRawk on a nearly-last second FG, then had to come back in the 4th Quarter to Santa Ana. Overall, this season has not met expectations or been up to Metal Militia standards. Still, they'll make the playoffs, and can still be dangerous against most teams. However that first round matchup is already locked in, and it's Ivory Coast. Next up: P-Town (1-14=(-13)
9 Dogs of War (7-8) Missing the playoffs for the first time in blah blah seasons. Should close out the season with a win to avoid a losing season. Looking forward to next season, when our dots will have a little more hair on their pubes. Next up: Sahara (0-15)
10 Santa Ana Swine Flu (6-9) Yes, I realize by now I'm going in the exact same order as the conference standings page. What the hell else am I supposed to do when everyone's beaten everyone else ('cept ICB) like taking turns who gets to be Tina and who gets to be Ike. Hell of a showing vs Mayotte a few games ago, but couldn't hold on. Next up: Uganda (11-4)

12 Barcelona Blaze (4-11) Only down by 2 to Mayotte at the end of the first half, but couldn't hold on. Got a lot of yds vs the DoW defense, but couldn't contain HB Adrian Johnson. Should be a good game for BB next week. Next up: Doom.
13 Nigerian Nightmares (3-12) I'm getting tired. NN has had 4 games this season with realistic looking scores (and that's stretching to allow a 71-0 game vs Burundi in Lion). Not what I call getting your money's worth, but c'est la vie, I'm too tired to rant. Next up: Kalahari (11-4)
14 Deutschland Dööm (2-13) It's been a long 11 game L streak for the jr leveled Doom. And FTR, *Three* realistic looking scores. Next up: Barcelona (4-11)
15 P-Town Ballaz (1-14) Suck it, ShadowChasers, there's a *new* number 15 in town! It actually was a crazy looking game. Sahara built up a 35-0 lead early, and it was 52-49 heading into the 4th Q before HB Dizzy Hammonds pulled his best Betty White impression, showing the world that senior citizens can still ball.
