Thanks Nottom.

Your TE seems to get open on cuts and changes of direction. Very effective.

Any vision penalty VA's?

I used to run with underdog a few seasons back, but he has more fame than most people covering him now. He pretty much has all the "catch the damn ball and hold on to it" VAs plus a little YAC attack.

Yeah, but I'd hate to have an VA that only works against bad teams and not the ones you really need it to

Ive been thinking for my tight end, I'm going to pump speed and agilty to 68, then leave that alone for the rest of his career, I'm going to put all his eq into speed, while pumping the rest of the sp i get into strength/carrying/vision and most likely only first cap jumping

You're going about that all wrong.

Is jumping to the 1. cap enough for the whole career of a cacthing/bruising TE?

I plan to build a player that can catch it over the middle, secure the ball, get tough yds and break a lot of tackles.

Your build is closed. Can we have a peek?

My TE had 894 in Pro. However, the same build in season 14/15 probably would struggle to get 300 because both offensive and defensive players in Pro leagues will be better. The average player covering your TE is likely to look something like

70 strength
125 speed
80 agility
70 tackling
61 jumping
50 stamina
70 vision
60 confidence

actual coverage LB today

Attributes
Physical Attributes
Strength: 71.71 (over 70)
Speed: 123.09 (+44) (almost 125)
Agility: 89.25 (+7) (well over 80. if it were 82 then speed would be 130)
Jumping: 65.55 (over 61)
Stamina: 58.71 (well over 50)
Vision: 78.25 (well over 70)
Confidence: 58.25 (almost 60)

Additional Abilities
Superior Vision: 8
First Step: 11

I'm not touting this as a spectacular build. It's probably a common WL/Pro coverage LB type build. But LOL those who said my analysis of what a coverage LB or safety would look like were not possible. They were actually too conservative.

They'll only get better as new 4 Major LBs get older
