nWo is what killed WCW. But whatever. Scott Hall is a good wrestler too, and his ladder match with Shawn Michaels is one of the best matches ever.

nWo killed it because of all the backstage drama that it caused. It is what caused alot of wrestlers to leave to WCW who became major stars in WWF (Benoit/Jericho/Guerrero etc)...

Those guys werent bringing in enough ratings...the NWO was the only thing keeping the WCW alive..I do agree that the NWO got bigger than it should have though...that red and black vs black and white thing got outta hand...Ted Turner is ultimately what caused the demise of WCW though...

Those guys did become big stars, so they were capable of bringing in ratings. Because of the nWo though, WCW never was able to take advantage of it.
Watch some of Jericho's stuff in WCW, and see how much heat he generates from the crowd. If he got any push at all, he would have became a major star there.

I did watch him...since day 1 he came in...I have seen him in all 3 organizations...WCW, ECW, and WWE/F...Malenko wasnt really ever a star per sey...he was overused...Benoit made his name with the 4 horseman...aside from that I doubt he ever even lands on the map...Jericho made his mainstay with good wrestling...the mic work came later...Gurrerro is the main reason I stopped watching wrestling...absolute worst wrestling/mic skills ive seen being pushed that far in my entire time watching...

That really doesn't disprove anything I was saying. You're just saying how you don't really think they're all that, but it does not really change how they become big stars.

At least Goldberg was believable as a top notch wrestler...I dont doubt Cena sucks..although ive hardly ever even watched him...
