TKW was in the mix, but like I said I hadn't realized HHW had already had a chance earlier a couple of seasons ago. DD had already lost a game, we were looking at only the undefeated teams which at the time included Cincy, HHW, TKW and Stewart. Plus, HHW was the only team to beat us last season in regulation, so there was the whole revenge thing.

We waited pretty late this time in order to get clarification on who to play. I'll probably Pm the Tournaments mod to see if he wants us to rotate regions or what. Probably looking at the game being next Monday, Day 16 in GLB. The games this week will help filter the best candidates.

I for one, second your nomination. Impressive rise up the ranks, good chance to world league it next year. Don't forget to PM Wrath the pre-requisite 3 times though, or you'll fall down the rankings.

Probably because we were better than most other teams? Besides, this is our first shot with Bonn. Our other shot was against Benitoes and that was in the WPT final. If you make it to WPT final, maybe you'd get a shot at it too.

They got the edge over other teams because they are the last team to beat bonn.

In brainstorming with Drk/tournaments mod I brought up the idea of a poll to determine the opponent. He liked the idea and said it might be used once a season.

Minnesota Marauders would be interesting. They're undefeated and crushing other teams. I think they'd be able to defend it easy against most WL teams. Plus, Bonn doesn't have a chance of playing them outside of a chance hazy meeting

Minnesota has already been brought up in our forum for next defense possibility. And I wouldn't call Minny/Bonn in hazy's a chance meeting, I would call it very likely and somewhat soon at that.

Defense 1: WL Team (opposite conference)
Defense 2: Pro Team (Champ picks, any region)
Defense 3: WL Team (Same conference)
Defense 4: Pro Team (Champ picks, any region)
Defense 5: Either a site-wide poll, or just one I conduct. Depends on what Bort will do.

So, this means we're looking at a Pro team from any region.

We've got some teams in mind, but any Pro team that has a case PM me. We're pretty much looking at teams with clean slates in season and ranked scrimms.

Nashville doesnt look like a terrible choice either this season so far.
