Samoa always seems to have a lot of trouble just saying "GG". Like every other team doesn´t have a reason why they lost.

I would like to say that I personally am appalled and horrified that my team owner would display such a disgusting lack of sportsmanship, and I just want the fine citizens of O-Pro to know that when MrMoose adds "I guess" to "GG" he speaks alone, not for the players of Samoa. I only hope this shocking affront to common decency and basic human dignity does not tear asunder this league.

Whoever we played did a great job of scouting our 38.5 yard FGs and obviously made the right defensive call to force the miss that would have won the game for Samoa. My hat is off to them, they deserved to win and I heartily bellow at the top of my lungs "GG" to them, with no qualifiers. Hopefully MrMoose is listening and will learn from my example.

Samoa isn't the only one that lost this week, and honestly, other teams have more to be upset about in their performance, including WSR.

Your post Track..is ridiculously pathetic with it's sarcasm, Obviously Mr Moose is frustrated with the loss, that's all I take away from the "I guess". Not a big deal imo, but believe me right now Track, you know EXACTLY who beat you. These are the types of games that can come back to haunt you when it comes time for Playoff Seeding.

I just read this thread and saw some dude flip out because someone said "GG, I guess" to him instead of "GG". I thought that was funny, so I just wanted to caricature that. You've got to admit that's pretty touchy.

And I wasn't trying to be sarcastic with the "whoever beat us" thing, I'm new to O-Pro and don't know the teams yet, I honestly can't remember the name of the team we're talking about off the top of my head. They're good though.

FWIW, Gambler and I talked about this in PMs and worked it out -- the content of this post is directed at those who feel I need to be attacked for violating the sanctity of the GG thread. Nowhere did I claim that Olden didn't earn the win. Saying "Good game, I guess" was because I was talking from my team's perspective on the "i guess" part. We didn't really play a good game, we lost. Olden, however, did play a good game.

And if anyone notes, nowhere did I claim the missed FG was the reason for the loss. I simply said that the missed field goal let the game go into OT. Nowhere did I make an excuse, claiming some silly reason for the loss. I've started to just keep that discussion behind closed doors on Samoa's forums. I see nothing wrong with posting a bit more in the thread on top of the GG. Just because it is me stating a pure fact about the game does not mean I'm calling Olden bad or anything like that. Stop reading so deeply into shit -- this is the internet, after all. Don't assume you know the context of what I'm saying.

And Jack: I realize other teams lost, by more points than Samoa did. However, I personally don't care how big the loss is, be it by 1 or by 100. In my mind, a loss is a loss, and it means the team played a bad game (while the other team played a good game). In a game where you're measured based on wins and losses, winning means you did good, losing means you didn't do good. There's a reason I don't post "gg" in the thread when we shitkick someone. I feel as if I'm rubbing in the massive loss, and don't want anyone to feel like I'm patronizing them.

EDIT: And no, I'm not saying "Samoa played shitty and that's why olden won" but "Samoa lost the game, therefore we played like shit"

Yes, you did it right, and idk about bonus points but it's a valid point. Several people from Samoa did it right, but I guess we're suppose to be happier than a fat kid with cake when we lose right?
