Sad but true.

There was an agent from the Brooklyn Dodgers that was trying to get into the draft. When someone finally noticed he had given up.

Why do you assume it is 'jack offs' looking to laugh and ruin the draft?

I didn't pick because I was asleep....TN stopped taking lists, the draft started at 1am my time, and they wanted 5 minutes a pick...i was pick 50........i have a certain level of commitment to this game, but it doesn't go that far

I would say a lot of the skipping was not the fault of the agents but of the draft

I can understand what you are saying however day 2 went smoothly and was completed in about an hour after the agents that were skipped on day one were removed from the draft. I would assume that draftee's had an idea each round of the draft would last at least that long.

If I were to guess rounds 3,4 and five today will be done in less than two hours total. Which would point to the draft not being the main reason for delays.

Which leads me back to thanking everyone that put in SO much time to make this draft a success, it all lead to next years reorg that will actually completely halt any future problems like this.

I never meant to say agents were not to blame at all, i mean i probably should have stuck around....i just like sleeping and the agents that did stay good work to them, i was just saying that it was not all the agents fault as djopie1 seemed to be trying to say, the drafts organization had some sway in things. But maybe you should do what i think you are doing (with this reorg thingy) and just split things up a little, break the teams and players up, speed things up a little.

I have to say this draft was better than last years, so thats progress i suppose. A long way to go still, but you seem to be identifying problems and are trying to find ways to solve them so (Y)

If it sounded like i was pushing off the blame that wasnt my intention. I know a lot of guys work hard to make this thing work. I myself cannot make todays draft so I completely understand how teams fail to show. Last seasons draft in a way made me dread this seasons. If it were not for TN, Rae and Dallas and many others I would not have attempted it again. However after round 2 I found myself looking forward to the next one because it was honestly fun.

Like I said in my previous post, the new division alignment will solve any remaining problems from now on its just fun!

I understand truly about needing sleep Rogen and not being able to make it ...but 30 teams not able to have a list of prospects ...given to another Gm or a rep just really seems over whelming ...like MM said after last season I was dreading this one, it looks to have went much better though...I ment nothing personal to anyone that just couldn't make it I do understand but that can not be the case with all of these teams IMO
