Part of the problem is guys dropping their team in the middle of the season... which is what I, and many others, complained about with the Voodooers. Just fuck up the whole league with that shit.

agreed. maybe Bort should lock mid-season team sales. let it happen in the offseason before reshuffling but make it unavailable after that event.

i would much rather face a full roster of league-suggested players on a team where gameplanning is non-existant because the owner has given up than face level 17 CPU players.

does it suck for those agents stuck on a team knowing that their team is disbanding at the end of the season? sure, but it preserves the competitiveness of the league.

make it so you have an option as the owner to tell GLB that you want to sell your team at season's end so you don't have to literally sell your team during a certain time period. make it so the agents on that team all receive end of day 40 contracts ending at the end of the season as well should the owner "pre-sell" his team mid-season. this at least preserves some consistency within the leagues.

it wouldn't prevent gut jobs but it's a partial solution to prevent the situation we currently find ourselves in.

at least in the Pro leagues most teams honor mid-season sales and play out the remainder of the season.
