Tell that to the prior teams that won one game in the playoffs here in EEA1 and got promoted. It happens all the time- CY chose to not compete because they can't take the heat. Many other teams have moved on up into EEAA1 and try to compete. Some will be there awhile, others will move up. It's the way the game works. You don't always get a trophy every level and at some point, you are gonna struggle against established teams at some level, whether A, AA, AAA, or Pro. How you handle that when you get there shows what sort of player you are.

In my opinion, MITH has done his guys a disservice, because he's now lost two seasons (BBB and A) for his players, which means they have two less seasons to compete if they ever get to Pro before they start to suffer declines. The point of the game is, ultimately, to compete in the Pros, not to hang out and collect trophies in the lower leagues. I just hope we get up there before my guys start declining.

As for the Smexies, Alpha had the Redskins last season who rolled over everyone and Zeta had good teams like Grid Iron Valor and St. Petersburg. As I said before, there will be established teams at every level. What do you do if you run into a Smexies type team at AAA when you get there- give up and go back down to BBB again?

They can, but many choose not to, because they have their roster they have recruited. MITH is like this- he could have recruited as much as anybody else, but he wants to keep his team together. That's his choice.

I've been thinking about this and I think he truthfully feels that with a EEA trophy his players would play better.

Follow me, you know all those little rices with the Civics and all? Yea, the ones who put a couple of decals and a 6 inch diameter exhaust tip on their car. The actually think it adds horsepower or makes their car faster somehow, maybe Mith thinks a EEA trophy would add +5 to a attribute or something.

We said all season that the smexies would roll, and guess what happened? they rolled everyone. Poor Danube should have had another trophy cause in my mind they were the legit winner. Danube are a great team and they will continue to do well. They don't need a trophy to stroke their ego. They know they have a good team and they are going to work to take it all the way up.

One way or another, you are eventually gonna play against a team like the Smexies, at some level between Pro and BBB. Your trophies don't matter if you get your ass handed you at a higher level, so you work at it to make sure you can play when you get there.

I am an owner that is and has been loyal to my team since purchasing it in season 7 in an uncapped league. We did pretty good I'd say and still have the majority of the agents together.

I'm sorry if my ethics/morals won't allow me to sign my daughter up for glb so I can get another team (capped at that) to find the loopholes and run exploits and etc.

And fwiw, I believe that the agents on my team like that about me or they would have all left after season 7, or season 8.

Yes because the reshuffle has nothing to do with relegation. Don't confuse the two. THEY WERE MOVED UP DUE TO SO MANY CPU TEAMS.

They didn't throw the playoff game in first round, you guys need to do a lil research and let that go because the team they lost to in the first round they didn't win to by that much in regular season.

Their roster was almost nothing after season 7, they RECRUITED a majority of the players on the roster last season. Just like they will have to do this season. In fact, I remember hoping they wouldn't be able to get their roster filled with the same levels that they had in season 7 b/c I would have liked to beat them in season 8, but they recruited and got them.

I look at the teams rosters I'm up against for the next season during the offseason b/c I like to know ahead of time where my team stands.

GLB will never have a system like that, because then people will complain about either 1) Rivalries don't get a chance to develop, 2) One team always wins, or 3) They're always playing the same teams. People will always find something to complain about here in GLB, and part of it now is you have the choice of rushing up and taking your lumps or hanging down and risking going into decline before you hit Pro.

If you want to be 100% competitive every season, there is always Pee Wee. Otherwise, your goal should be on the prize in Pro; anything else is icing on the cake.
