So let me get this straight. You want another team to use plays that suck against you and if they don't you get pissed?

we went 20-0 in season 6...so I think we know how the AI works....well, when it is working

& that's why you should know that what you said was just dumb.

So I guess when teams only run this so called bug play 10-15 times a game...it's alright? What if they run that play and it picks up a crucial first down and then they proceed to score a game winning FG or TD....is that alright?

still waiting for your reply on these questions

I think it's time for everyone to take a breather and calm down.

The point's been made by both sides.

I think your frustrations and anger are directed at the wrong person.

Zambia has always run balanced gameplans and typically leaned towards the pass. What is a passing team supposed to do this season? Should they just say fuck it and lose every game and hope for better luck next season while their fan support dwindles when equipment is already hard enough to pay for? Should they let agents get bored and want to go elsewhere so they have to recruit next season?

Nobody bitches when teams run the strong i slam and strong i off tackle 50 times a game and mix in a couple passing plays with the only intention of making the numbers look less skewed. So how many times are we supposed to run the play before we are taking advantage of a glitch? Why is using an exploit play 50 times a game ok but using it every play is not? The strong i slam isn't the only broken play, their are two others. Would you feel better if we ran the three broken plays over and over? What if we mixed in 10 very safe passes that go for 3-4 yards and just run the "exploit" plays?

Who defines what is right and what is wrong with the gameplan?

This isn't a gameplan issue, this is an issue about a fucked up sim. Focus your energy towards trying to get this shit fixed so we can actually enjoy the game next season.

I didn't get pissed until TUC came out & called me a fucking liar.
Whatever though, I don't even care about that. I agree that the sim is screwed this season but what the hell is wrong with actually scouting & trying some different shit?! Weak side runs, pitch plays, screen passes – that’s what we did – we’ve ALWAYZ been a passing team, this season we have been forced to adjust & we’re not doing so great, but that doesn’t mean I will just run one play at somebody all game long either – I want to win just as bad as anybody, but I want to do it right. Is this what GLB is coming to – find one play & run it every single snap?

I’m not even mad at TUC – I said what I wanted to say & that’s that. I just don’t think it’s right, that’s it.

Yes, it is what GLB is coming too. Tuc got sick of teams running that play against him 50 times a game.

See here is how GLB is playing out as we speak. Some teams in season 2-4 took advantage of ticket sales exploits and racked up over 100 million bucks. All the other teams are struggling to pay for level 48 equipment and are realizing that buying level 56 for more than a handful of players isn't going to be possible. Teams can't afford to lose while waiting for the sim to get fixed. Every dollar counts because teams are at the point to where they wont be able to upgrade everyones equipment and will start losing players to teams that can pay for the equipment upgrades. Once the downward spiral starts then there is no way to make up for it. Once a team loses a few games in a row their only hope is to either sell off their entire team as rentals for the rest of the season or gut and slow build while starting with a full season.

If you take this out of the equation then teams might be more willing to take it up the ass while Bort fixes the game. Until the sim gets fixed teams will stay desperate. They are looking at all their hard work since the first couple seasons go down the drain. We will continue to see long term owners sell because of one losing season because one losing season is all it takes to ruin a team for good with the way the finances, fan support and equipment costs are set up.

Then factor in teams running exploit plays in large doses and a passing game that is flat out broken and you get shit like a 100% strong i slam gameplan.

Do you think Tuc wants to run this gameplan just to keep his team viable for when the sim does get fixed? Do you think he likes having teams run the strong i slam against him 60 times a game?

Really, I think any owner that is struggling this season and doesn't run an exploit offense is crazy and might as well sell their team because they have to try and compete against teams that are either using the same exploit or used exploits in seasons past to give them huge advantages.

The sim is broken, the game is broken and the owner of the game is so disconnected from the game and at the same time refuses to listen to the outcry from people that pay his bills.

I'm not saying don't be mad, be FUCKING PISSED OFF, just direct the anger and frustrations at the right person.

I don't really fault zambia, its not their fault the sim is broke and found an opportunity to get a cheap win. At the same time I'm pretty much losing all interest in this game and am questioning whether I'm going to waste anymore time with it, let alone money. This game just brought me one step closer to quitting altogether. It really puts me off that teams are going to start or continue exploiting the game to win, at the expense of teams who spend a lot of time working out their gameplans to try to make the best of the broken sim--without abandoning actually playing a real football game. I think theres a pretty big difference between running run-heavy gameplans now that running is the only thing that works, and running the same play every play. Once again, I don't think its right to focus the anger squarely on teams like Zambia, but remember by knowingly exploiting the game you are ruining it for many people. Outlaw may have gone overboard a bit, but I know his intentions and frustations are legitimate and not unfounded.

You're absolutely right PT - we are in exactly the situation you described - struggling financially to afford equipment upgrades & trying to just hang on.

This season's sim is by far the worst ever & I'm seeing more & more long time agents selling their teams & leaving the game. I LOVED this game a couple of season ago & was still excited coming into this season, but now the fun is gone & it's just frustrating. The sad thing is I don't see it getting any better any time soon - I hope I'm wrong & I will ride this ship until it sinks ... I'm just concerned that it will sink sooner than later.

While I don't agree with what happened in our game yesterday, it is what it is & it's over now - I didn't intend for this thread to get out of hand. If nothing else, I hope this opens some people's eyes as to what is going on in GLB & some good can come out of this.
