Warrior General Games

We try as well, as we have been the last 3 seasons - we just can't seem to string together 2 solid games in a row against other Pro teams.
This season we had decent wins against the Pimps ...

But then we had a terrible performance against the FootballGuys, a close loss to the Wop Wops or whatever - & we got our asses kicked by the Benitos ... I will ALWAYZ schedule games against other Pro teams & I think APL is finally starting to get some respect because of what LOL & now the Bugeaters have done. I would like to see more of our "Top" teams schedule some tougher games as well, but we're getting there ...

we're starting to. just lost to some USA Pro team that ran the ball 97% of the time. sucks...

OTR's a good team, but they also have a lot of the same GMs as the Cheating Cheetahs. I'm not surprised they would run that much.

I agree. It is all about creating a persona, attitude, and scrimmaging other leagues.

We have to make others take notice of us and stir things up and just playing our normal games isn't going to do that.

I agree. I've been trying to really promote APL in the rankings committee. Your buddy JoeyBarber whined that I voted for Bots, but no one else will vote for us. Hell, we've beaten 2 of the top 15 teams on the list and are in the final 8 in the GWT. It's not about Bots to me though, it's about the league. The more teams from APL that get votes, the more those teams are posted, the more we are in the minds of voter, and the more respect we get. After Joey whined, quite a ruckus blew up about the APL so I'm thinking my madness is starting to work. About an hour later we beat the Barracuda, I thought that was a nice touch Unless some bad things happen, I'm thinking we'll have at least 2 teams in the top 25 next week...and just think if it is a LION team.....

We appreciate your work maj. I'm thinking we can get Bots/LOL both in the rankings?

I can't agree more we need to get more teams from the APL in PRO level scrimmages. ESPECIALLY the lion, we have good teams there but no one will notice us until we play outside of the lion conference. Rhinos, Kings, and Warrior Kings you all should be trying to scrimmage outside of APL to get us out there. You all have very good teams and I think we can win some of these games and get noticed. I would include the Dream on that list but I think they made it clear that they are a farm team or something that they don't give a rats ass about the APL.

In short set up some games and help get the APL off of the bottom rung of the Pro league scale.

Teams like LOL, DD, TLGoT, and BB have all gotten the ball rolling and we are in a good spot to strike and make a name for our league!!!

Should have the best play the best in one league...Then these tourneys, and scrimmages would not matter ...IMHO
