I used to own a team in the USA with Rogerdyates and skeetersmif as my main 2 GMs. So they can vouch for what I am about to say. I can't even count the number of games that we lost because we screwed up the AI. One of them was a huge game to one of our biggest rivals and it was a major mess-up. I mean, we were kicking 80 yd FGs. Yet still, the other team claimed their win and we kept our mouth shut. Its just the classy thing to do.

I'm not saying your GM was wrong for posting his thoughts on why you lost. Its just, when those thoughts are "we didn't do this, if we had done this, we would have done waaaaaaay better". Anyone can say that, thats a given. Any forum/league you go to, you will find a controversy if someone pulls that stuff. And it always results in the same argument. So why not stave off the argument in advance by leaving the controversial part out? All you accomplish by mentioning it is stirring up some drama, getting yourself involved in an argument, and probably end up making an ass of yourself to the more mature owners/teams in the league that originally had some respect for you. That, and the fact that the next time you meet the other team is gonna plan twice as hard for you. Now that they know you messed up the first time.

Where did I say "he only reason you won was because..." or any derivative form? I said we would have done much better or that it would have been much different...


Wow, all this because either people were waiting for an opportunity to be classless winners and wanted some e-go, or people just wanted their daily dose of drama. I merely wanted to talk tactics with the guy who obviously planned against us. I usually don't comment at all about a game just because I'm the Belichek of GLB. But I don't have much problem talking about the championship game openly because we're moving on and there are no more games for this season.

surely you could look back on my post and see I was talking tactics with you. I said things might have been different, I didn't say anywhere we would have beaten you I had not made the mistake.

If you sold out as you said you did, and if we ran mostly to the right, we would have gotten 5 yards per play. The RG would have picked up your LOLB, our FB would have picked up either you other LB or your SS, and the HB would have made 5. Why do I believe this?

You're missing the point. I never said you didn't know what you were talking about. Nor did I claim that if you ran strong side It was a guarantee that I would have stopped you. I was trying to help you save some face now and in the future. But you obviously aren't the type to understand that sort of thing. But if he changed those settings the way we planned, that defense would have given up a ton more yardage to us. So I on one hand will say gg, and on the other hand I will say you were lucky in that we intended on run the score up on you but didnt because he forgot to.

Morphius he doesnt get any of this. the only thing he understands is his team played their biggest game in several season and he let them all down. he freely admits the loss is all his fault and wouldnt have happened if he wasnt the OC. He usually doesn't comment at all about a game just because he is the Matt Millen of GLB.

meh screw it, we move up, you dont....
