Fair enough. I appreciate the feedback always.

I will tell you what, I honestly knew in my heart you guys would move up more. In fact, I believed you earned it, all shit talking aside, and completely was looking forward to placing you there. Honestly.

I ran the numbers and they came out like I posted them. I thought, hmm, that doesnt seem right. So, I reran them, came up with the same thing and thought, well, they must be right. Posted them exactly how they came out.

Then I see what you posted and thought, he does have a point! Let me look at it again.

This is what I found out the difference was...
When I say quality Wins, it is figured BOTH ways - Quality Wins vs. Non-Quality Wins. Yes, you have beat Nairobi & Pretoria. Better teams than us by more points. BUT, you have also beat 30. Casablanca Golden Eagles, 31. Bamako Bite, 32. Gabon Panthers. Your non-conference game and the other two games happen to be against the 3 WORST teams in the whole league, which works as a reverse-positive, non-quality wins. Then your other wins came against two lower tier opponents as well. On the flipside of that, Nairobi has beaten 7. Niger Mambas*, 8. Uganda Headhunters*, 10. Pretoria Pigs*. They have also beat a middle of the road team and two lower tier teams. Point is, we will EVENTUALLY all play the same teams, and as long as we both continue on our path throughout the season you will eventually catch AND pass us by.

Does this make sense to everyone?
Let me know & thanks again for your feedback.

It does make sense to me. Personally, I'm not sure why you have us ranked so high--but that is another story. The fact is that you put a lot of time in to this and I know that everyone that pays attention to our forum reads this link! That means you are providing a benefit to all of us and I would like to thank you for it. Nice work.

Hey, much appreciated man. Good to see someone getting something out of this, if nothing more than just a good read.

Reason you are ranked so high? You have beaten some quality opponents and your ONLY loss was to the #1 team in the league. So, until or if someone steps up and beats you guys, then you will remain a top dog!

Also, whats with all the Michigan helmets for your players Avis? I live in Ann Arbor, only a few miles from the Big House actually.

Born and raised in Michigan. I lived in Howell, MI before moving to CT. I love Michigan football--well this year was interesting. I still wear the colors over here and get some crazy faces. I'm still a Big Wings fan and Pistons. Tigers I do still follow. The Lions--well I'm happy they finally finished something perfect.

I have many friends that went to U of M and I have partied on that campus many times. Great years!

Wow, cool to know! I grew up in Flint (hence my Flintown Thugs team lol) and have lived quite a few places in Michigan and outside Michigan. Yeah, Im a gypsy. Anyhow, there are quite a few of is Michiganders in our stable of teams. The Red Wings are my boyz for life! Now that Iverson plays for the Pistons I am down with them too. Always want Michigan teams of ALL kinds to succeed, even the Lions. But, usually my faves are where my fave players play, not what state I am from. Anyhow, good to meet ya! And thanks for all positive words.

Well considering we are #2 by these rankings and you have kicked our butts 4 times now and neither game scrimmage of regualr season was even close--I guess you can call the gap "The Grand Canyon".

Either way this is fun and we will keep trying! i would wish you good luck BBE, but I'm seriously hoping you break a leg so the rest of us have a chance at the title.

The nice thing this year is that there are a bunch of teams that are closer in talent so there isn't that many games that are gimmies like last season.

Writing starting to take a bit longer to sustain the freshness of the write-up. Lol.

Geese....I was really hoping the Warriors would pull off that win against the Texans. They are a good team, hopefully the Warriors can pull things together and figure out the 4th quarter come playoff time.

Much appreciated. If nothing more, it is exciting to write and watch all this evolve. It has really renewed my interest in this ultra-competitive league and the GLB as a whole.

Speaking of which, I cant hardly wait for tomorrow. Some HUGE games, that will really set the tone for the second half of the season.
