Nice matchup New Guinea, and welcome to OPL! You have a great looking team. You don't know how upset I was that we drew a "new" team for this game. Scouting and gameplanning for you was hard and I wasn't feeling good about this game. At least if we'd drawn an established Alpha team I would have been able to look at some of last year's film against teams I know are similar to mine.

Usually discussion of tactics is considered poor form in this thread so future opponents aren't given an advantage and whatnot, so all I'll say is that you did a good job containing our running game for the most part, but you gave up some huge plays to our HB. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

42 carries for 121 yards would have looked pretty good. 2 for 145 was not so good.

Good game Brantford. It was fun to play each other for real again. Its good knowing our D didnt give up a TD to your ariel attack.

If you guys ever get a running game, you would give teams fits. Good luck this season.

GG Fiji. That 4th quarter was brutal.

GG Heat - we just could not muster any offense and had to keep settling for FGs and you were able to score TDs. Even in a loss I can leave this game with my head held high for it was still a battle.
