Yes, but dont boost or spend your starter 15 sp. Just train. We wont boost for the first time until after the first season of play and you dont relegate sp until you can take something to the cap.

Again, this team coming together is all dependant on Brohl getting a team, but if you create a player now you can start training.

Theme for The Team (Name to be decided when we find out what area we will be in)

Offensive Players: Famous U.S. Generals (Open to any Generals from any branch of the service and any time period. Except, of course the squids who don't have Generals.) <LOL Jarhead much!!!>

Defensive Players: Famous Non-U.S. Generals ( I would be open to including Generals from the Revolutionary War, so long as they were not U.S. Born.)

P.S. If you are challenged on a particular name's qualifications be prepared to post some documentation. I will be the final arbiter of the names. Oh, and please do NOT insult my intelligence with names like General Mills or General Purpose.

I will create a separate thread for the names to be posted. As soon as we get a team I will begin working on contracts and positions etc.

Brohl, you probably need to past a naming thread in this forum since 70% of the team doesnt have access to the AAA#1 owners private forum. I called Stonewall Jackson for my OT. Here are a few idea's for those who arent really into history.

US Generals

Nathaniel Greene- US revelution; Greene Mountain men
George Patton- WW2; Tanks blow shit up, nuff said
Jeb Stuart- Civil War; Confederate calvery and hell of a fighter/tactician
Omar Bradley- WW2; Famous "Nuts" line during battle of buldge

Non-US Generals

Marquis de Lafayette- US Revolution; Saved our asses and taught us to fight
Erwin Rommel- WW2; The "Desert Fox" was a brilliant German general in northern Africa
Napoleon- Napoleonic Wars; "bigs" packed quite a punch
King Leonidas- Greco-Prussion wars; Im sure youve seen 300
Alexander the Great- Conquered most of the known world
Sun Tzu- Created "the art of war" which is to this day the basis of chineese warfare and philosophy

For my Center I call General Colin Powell.

When should we make our players?

If you create them now you can get a few extra days of training in, but you wont boost them until the end of next season and dont use the start 15 sp's until you can soft cap an ability.

Pending Brohl's plans, I have some build outlines that I can steal from another team to help everyone build their players.

funny, I have guys with a lot of those names, look at my profile...

Ummm I already created my player, and named him after a serial killer...

I like alot of your players names... if I had a ton of cash to dump into this game I would probably use quite a few historical names after I ran out of Star Wars names. Ive always had a passion for history which is probably a rare thing amoungst sports fans.

is there anything else left to make?
