The numbers are right based on the formula, but I don't think that the result is...yet. Belfast has actually been ahead of BCK for the last 3 weeks or so, but BCK has been closing the gap and the two teams are all but tied at this point. The only reason Belfast is ahead right now is because the specific factors in the formula have given a slight nod to Belfast because their strength of schedule has been better (e.g. Belfast's opponents have 29 combined wins and BCK's have 26), which has just barely outweighed BCK's better margin of victory. Either way, with Knights playing 5-3 Jellystone and Belfast playing the 1-7 Car-bombers, Belfast's SOS advantage should disappear this week.

London at Portuguese - A little easier game to pick here as most of Zeta should be lopsided affairs. The teams currently have the 6 and 7 seeds in the playoff picture, and basically have beat the same teams and lost to the same teams...with the exception of the Pounds loss to Helsinki, although the Men-of-War get that matchup next week. I hope the Pounds can make a better showing as they made me look foolish for picking them to be within 3 points of the Crabs. Lightning (and I'm not talking about Tilburg) may strike twice, but I'll pick the Pounds in this one. Line: London by 7.

I dunno..normally I don't have much to say about these prediction, as you've been spot on most of the time. My team was pretty horrible last season, and we only lost by 3 to these guys last year. We've made some serious strides this year, and we may just pull an upset here. I'll certainly take the 7 points!

I don't know that if Portuguese wins here it is an upset (other than by my pick). I just kinda went with my gut since I'm not as familiar with Zeta, and based on their performances against the same competition. Against the 6 common foes, London has a fairly substantial advantage in points scored and passing yards per game, and a decent lead in rushing yards/game, while the advantage to the Men-of-War in points allowed and rushing yards allowed a game is more minor (passing yards allowed is nearly identical).

Stats are definitely deceiving, however, so it wouldn't be any surprise of the line should be 7 points in Portuguese's favor. Of course, based on player boosting, temporary +5 boosts, game planning, etc. it will be interesting to see what happens.

True! It is defintely more interesting when your team is competitive! Last season at this point I was praying for a fast forward!

We are looking forward to RKS. Not looking past anyone but we got you guys circled and hoping to prove ourselves this time

Ya I feel there are a number of established teams that we have to beat or compete with atleast before we even get mention with the top teams in the conference. We are still a new team

That would be great. I don't see it happening but it will be great if you win.

I was wrong about the outcome, but I definitely had it right as the Game of the Week. That game was about as good as it gets with each team hitting field goals in the last minute to take the lead.

You're telling the owner of a team you GM not to compliment the GM of a team you own?

*brain hurts*
