GE, you should have waited another hour or so until the rollover and the power ranking updates with today's games.

So at this point in season 1 for me I have some thoughts/questions. For the most part I've enjoyed the game but have some... idk reservations maybe, about it too.

Is defense at a disadvantage in this game by design? Do blockers have magnets on them or are defenders forced to cover blockers? 2-3 players with a clear shot at a ball carrier and they all choose to run the other direction to engage a trailing blocker or run into that interaction thereafter. Players spinning in circles with the play directly in front of them, what are they confused about? I'm talking plays where no awareness or pursuit should be needed it's right in your lap, just hit them!

When I have S*s is it a waste of time to make them defensive? Is the magic bullet having a S* RB or Qb and just continuing outside runs with a built almost purely for running?

Defensive superstars become pretty important later on when it takes both the right play calls AND the right builds to win. Currently, at rookie, you really just need to make the right play calls, player builds aren't developed enough at this point to make much of a difference. Although, as Rob said previously, superstar RBs are the current meta.

Gg Winchester. Like I said on the other board we got lucky today. I was expecting more quarterback runs

You can, but you won't.

Also, our mission statement for this season was to troll you.

My take on some of your questions:

Yes, but I wouldn't say by design. More dev incompetence.

They sure seem to.

No, not necessarily. In fact, if I was running a single agent team like you are, I would probably consider the following choices:
Tier 150 - HB, maybe LB
Tier 100 - hard to choose, but probably a S or a TE
Tier 50 - DT

Cool story bro. I'm pretty sure I will after you lay another egg vs Northland tomorrow. Then you can go reset because you are scared to stay in our league.

Man, you are deluded. You have to win out AND have a bunch of other low probability stuff happen to get in. Meanwhile, you are 7-4 in league play, so winning out isn't even a sure thing, despite your weak division and the two free wins coming your way.

And we were always taking a season off and resetting again, but you know that already...

Side note, taking a season off with a mostly CPU roster and we are still doing better than you.

Tomorrow will be the big day. The Run Stuffers/Blue Mountain game should be a low scoring affair...could end 0-0. If GE gets the win there and Northland win against Whoville, I'd give him a 30-40% chance to grab the wildcard.

GE still lurks in the darkness.
