So I need some advice on how to relieve a tight/pained back.

I went from only doing light yardwork like mowing, watering, and pruning, to full landscaping with hauling, trenching, moving large rocks, mulching, planting, and goddamn everything remotely landscape related. I started my landscaping career with a fucking 9 hour, 90 degree day. Luckily I escaped sunburn and heat stroke but my upper and lower back are ridiculously tight and pretty painful. I tried stretching and relaxing it, took some bayer back and body, but looking for a backup plan if that doesn't work

pained or just sore?

Not entirely sure. I have back pain occasionally, but probably just because the muscles are weak, because it hurts to do anything etc etc, it's a cycle that to avoid back pain I make myself susceptible to it. This does feel more like muscle pain than nerve/disc pain though. Im on the RI part at the moment

Also, given that this is your work, you might want to look into the posture type compression shirts that Dwight Howard popularized. I own one of the adidas ones (they're cheaper than the intelliskin ones) and I really like it.

They're definitely expensive, to the point that you question the utility for the price, but I think one or two would be worth it given your work.

What would it do, exactly? Gotta say Im entirely foreign to the compression sportswear stuff.

It just gives a little more stability to your back. The idea behind them is that muscle imbalances are what causes a lot of the issues.

Theres a huge difference in the feeling of pain vs sore. Its kind of hard to describe accurately but when you hurt a muscle its generally a very localized sharp pain. When you are sore its the entire muscle and its more a burning feeling. Also when you are actually hurt you literally can't exert any kind of effort with the muscle, when you are sore you can use it, its just painful and you get tired more easily.

I will occasionally have random painful high pitched ringing in my ear. Mostly my right one. For me its tinnitus from going to too many concerts without any ear protection. I think actually most of it is from one show I went to where the speakers were just a couple feet from the right side of my head.

So I followed a bit of the advice on here and my back is mostly fine, but my fingers now hurt due to having a death grip on a trowel, hoe, and steel rake to till and smooth a yard. Any advice for sore fingers? The muscles and joints hurt
