Week 1: District 9 Prawns over Village Dogs

Updated first post. Things to note:

-tautology upped his donation to 20,000 reward points.
-I added three payouts: 1st-MadCow cash plus 25,000 RP; 2nd-10,000 RP, 3rd-5,000 RP
-The pick deadline will be STRICTLY enforced this year. Get your picks in early. You may make picks ahead of time. Mat McBriar made his entire season's picks in week 1 last year. I advise you at least get your weekend picks before you leave on Friday if you don't sign in on the weekends much.

Welcome to the Season 18 version of World League Survivor. This year's winner will take home a record breaking $35* plus 25,000 reward point prize while the second place finisher will go home with a 10,000 reward point prize and the third place finisher will walk away with a 5,000 reward point prize. 20,000 reward points donated by tautology, $35* donated by MadCow DTD and 20,000 reward points donated by GLB.. Each week you pick the winner of one game. If your team wins, you survive. Sounds simple, right? There are a few twists.

-You may not pick any team to win more than once over the course of the season (includes playoffs).
-You may not pick AGAINST the same team more than once over the course of the season (resets at playoffs).
-This means, you may pick each team twice. Once to win and once to lose.
-If multiple players survive through the Championship game or are eliminated in the same week, they tie.
-All ties will split any prize they are eligible for. Each tied participant takes up a prize pool slot. So if two tie for first, they split the first and second prize and the next eliminated wins the third prize.
-You may change your pick anytime before the deadline, but you should make a new post to do so. If you edit an old post and I've already recorded it, I may not see your change.
-The deadline to make picks for a given week is 5:55 ET. This deadline will be strictly enforced!
-You may submit picks for future weeks in advance.
-The contest is open to any poster on GLB. One entry per real life person, though.
-These rules are subject to change by the moderator.

Will anyone have a perfect season? If so, how many?
What week will the winner last through?
How many total participants will we have?
How many people will be eliminated in week 1?
How many people will be eliminated with "None" in week 2?
How many people will be eliminated with "None" overall? Or as a percentage of the participant pool.
What team will let the most people down? (Remember Marblehead is gone now)
