She is standing in a pen with 2' of grass but needed to push her head through that loop to get 4 blades of grass on the other side of the fence and she had to lay down to attempt it. I had to carefully but quickly hacksaw through the leg of the panel while the heifer was freaking out. I managed to get her out before she broke her neck or suffocated, good thing because it was one of my top prospects.

Just don't do what my dad did once. Milk cow with tail full of cockleburrs + flies bothering cow while dad was milking = dad getting smacked upside the head several times by the tail. Dad had a brainstorm (clouded with anger at getting his face whacked with cockleburrs several times) tied a brick to the cow's tail and resumed milking.

This is probably common knowledge because it has been circulated for a few years but just in case, the gnats in my area are very bad right now and if you are like me, I react horribly to gnat bites, they swell up more on me than bee or wasp stings and I don't get the bumps from mosquitos but those little gnat bites in the ear make me look like a wrestler, get bit by the eye and it almost swells shut and I get what looks like hives on my arms and neck from those puny little bastards.
Absorbine Jr/Absorbine Plus works great, better than Vanilla for keeping those little bastards off of you. It is some sort of muscle ache medicine, you can find it next to the Icy Hot or other muscle creams in drug stores or department stores. It really is the most effective repellent I have every used.

After hearing about a bomb threat at a friend's office, I started thinking...if someone was going to bomb a place, why would they call in a threat? Has there ever been an instance of a bombing where people were like "oh yeah, they called us earlier that day and told us about it"?
