again - the opponents true win/loss record is what the record would be if they never played that team. For example, Omaha's opponent's win/loss record is 19-30, but if Omaha (7-0) had never played those teams the win/loss record would be 19-23.

#1 Omaha Mavericks (7-0), opponent true win/loss (19-23)
At the top of the East is the Omaha Mavericks with a bruising defense (they've only allowed 22 points in 7 games) that allowed them to knock off the #2 Tallahassee Seminoles, #7 Dallas Horns, and #8 K-town Hates Phil.

Up Next: San Francisco Stonecutters, which they should handle easily before moving on to the big matchup next week against #5 Chicago MB

#2 Tallahassee Seminoles (6-1), opponent true win/loss (18-24)
Tallahassee’s only loss was a 9-3 score against top rated Omaha, while gaining a convincing win against the #3 Sphere. They haven’t been tested so far this year, but they are looking solid and ready to repeat their playoff run from last year.

Up Next: Tallahassee gets the enigmatic #8 K-town Hates Phil who previously beat #4 Houston and barely lost to #1 Omaha, but followed up with a loss to the Austin Longhorns?? Expect Tallahassee to take care of business and stay in the #2 slot.

#3 Carribbean Sphere (5-2), opponent true win/loss 23-19
The Sphere have key wins against the #8 K-town Hates Phil, #5 Chicago “MB” Bears, and San Francisco. While their loss to #2 Tallahassee is respectable, they have a puzzling loss to the #7 Dallas Horns. However, the win over K-town and the toughest schedule of the ranked teams so far earns them the #3 spot.

Up Next: The Real Austin Longhorns. The Sphere should win this one, but look for Real Austin to put up a fight to get a little respect and the #8 spot in the rankings.

#4 Houston Orangebloods (6-1), opponent true win/loss (20-22)
Houston’s probably going to be pissed at the #4 ranking after beating #7 Dallas, #5 Chicago and the Real Austin Long-horns, but their loss to #8 K-town and lower strength of schedule puts them just below the Sphere for this week.

Up Next: #6 Texas Roughnecks. A win here will firm up Houston’s standing as one of the top 4 teams in the West.

#5 Chicago “MB” Bears (5-2), opponent true win/loss (20-22)
One of the easier teams to slot in the rankings - a win against the #6 Texas Roughnecks and losess to the #3 Sphere and #4 Houston makes the #5 Spot perfect for them.

Up next: The MB may be excused for looking past the soon to be BBB Allen Zephyrs to taking on #1 Omaha next week.

#6 Texas Roughnecks (6-1), opponent true win/loss (20-22)
Wins against the #7 Dallas Horns, #8 K-town, Real Austin, and San Francisco combined with a loss to #5 Chicago “MB” Bears slots Texas into the #6 spot.

Up Next: #4 Houston – in the game of the week in the West, Texas looks to make its case for a top 4 ranking in the West.

#7 Dallas Horns (4-3), opponent true win/loss( 22-20)
Dallas’ 3 respectable losses were aginst #1 Omaha, #6 Texas, and #4Houston, but its the win over #3 Sphere that earns Dallas the nod over #8 K-town and Real Austin.

Up Next: The 2-5 Austin Longhorns, Dallas maybe looking ahead to #2 Tallahassee next week?

#8 K-town hates Phil (3-4), opponent true win/loss (23-19)
K-town is possibly schizo after beating #4 Houston, barely losing to #1 Omaha, and then inexplicably losing to Austin?? They’re other two losses against the #6 Texas Roughnecks and #3 Sphere are respectable.

Up Next: #2 Tallahassee – a win here will make this team even more confusing, which K-town will show up this week?

outside looking in

Real Austin Longhorns (4-3) : All 3 losses are against good teams (#5 Chicago “MB” Bears, #1 Omaha, and #6 Texas), but they’ll need a more signature win than San Francisco to break into the rankings. A win against the Sphere this week would likely earn them that respect and an entry into the rankings.

San Francisco (3-4): All 4 losses are respectable (Real Austin, #4 Houston, #6Texas, #3 Sphere), but their 3 wins have come against opponents with 1 win. They’ll need to beat a tougher team to make it into the rankings or they are in danger of falling out of sight. Things don’t look to get much better for them this week as they face off against #1 Omaha.

I am clearly biased here, but I would be remised if I did not mention...

The Tallahassee loss to Mavs should include an asterisk. That was the game that the passing algorithms were all fucked up. We happened to go to a heavy pass attack game plan that game too. No way our offense only puts up 3 points under normal circumstances.

Projections!!!...Yay.

Allen Zephyrs vs. Chicago "MB" Bears West 27-0 MB

Snore, wake me up when its over.

D.C. Sonics vs. Oklahoma City Outlaws West 6-3 DC

…..Wait these teams still play? Every week? No way.

Tallahassee Seminoles vs. K-Town Hates Phil West 24-17 Tallahassee

There we go a real game. Tallahassee should be able to take down a K-Town team that lost to Sphere.

Omaha Mavericks vs. San Francisco Stonecutters West 23-10 Omaha

Its close on paper, but the Stonecutters apparently have no idea how to game plan, thus Omaha again here.

Texas Roughnecks vs. Houston Orangebloods West 17-14 Houston

Game of the Day. GOGOGOGOGO Houston. I need you guys to win, then lose to us. So I am sure you will be happy to comply.

Austin Longhorns vs. Dallas Horns West 27-7 Horns

Horns will slap Austin and have a good season due to that upset over Sphere in the works.

Caribbean Sphere vs. The Real Austin Longhorns West 27-10 Sphere

Sorry to be the one to do this to Real Austin, but you guys get rolled today.

Dallas Death vs. Los Angeles Sharks West 27-24 Sharks

Yawn.

French Lick Dirty Whorns vs. Pennsylvania Lions East 27-26 Lions

I like the Lions here to make things interesting in the bottom half for the *CoughweakerCough* East.

Cleveland Greyhounds vs. Care Bears East 37-0 Care Bears

Uh…Care Bears much?

NEW YORK STEEL-HEADS vs. D.C. Warriors East 17-3 Steelheads

Steelheads keep the snowball rolling here with a quick and clean win over DC.

Chicago CBMB Bears vs. Chicago Grizzlies East 24-13 CBMB

CBMB makes a play for a top spot in the East with a win over the Grizzlies today.

New Jersey Vikings vs. Columbus Spartans East 12-13 Vikings

Wat?

Minnesota Drillers vs. Orlando Pirates East 30-24 Drillers

The other game of the day. Tough to call but I am leaning Drillers. Tey are time tested and know how to win big games. But the Pirates are on a monster roll so we will have to wait and see.

Colorado Storm vs. Miami Sharks East 27-6 Storm

Sigh….Storm

Chicago LMG vs. West Bend Warlocks i]East 14-10 LMG

Another sad game, what the fuck LMG and Warlocks…you guys need new GMs or something….

I like that you picked us, but again you are pretty far off on the score.
I am sure after next week you will start to get it right.

Are you saying both scores are too low/high? Or are you just saying your score is too low?

After game planing this matchup I have a pretty good idea what we will score. I am not as confident about yalls score. I do know if you score 14 we will win this game though.

I see. Since you're able to predict scores I recommend the rest of the league burns you at the steak because you're probably a WITCH!!

Why does every update have Sphere in it? It's the 4th best team in the league, imo. I'm sure the Dallas Horns are satisfied with their season now that they won the game against almighty Sphere. No wait, Horns don't relish moral victories...thats reserved for aggies.
