So I've been having this pinging noise in my ears today. Any idea what this means?

Define pinging. Surprisingly, the specific noise you hear can mean different things.

So I need some advice on how to relieve a tight/pained back.

I went from only doing light yardwork like mowing, watering, and pruning, to full landscaping with hauling, trenching, moving large rocks, mulching, planting, and goddamn everything remotely landscape related. I started my landscaping career with a fucking 9 hour, 90 degree day. Luckily I escaped sunburn and heat stroke but my upper and lower back are ridiculously tight and pretty painful. I tried stretching and relaxing it, took some bayer back and body, but looking for a backup plan if that doesn't work

I guess it sortof sounds like someone plucking at a rubber band or something. It also seemed like my ear was plugged or I had water in it a bit.

I went on a party bus a couple nights ago so I thought maybe that had something to do with it but who knows. My ears have been constantly ringing for a few years but this pinging is pretty new

And last question, does your inner ear hurt a little bit on it's own or is it sensitive to loud noises or pressure changes like closing a car door?

It hasn't hurt today at all but occasionally I will hurt a bit. I don't think its overly sensitive to loud noises or pressure changes but they ring pretty loud after I'm in a loud atmosphere for a while

Hm.. If the pressure/pain thing changes, go to an emergicare clinic or something equivalent, you could have a blister on your ear. They're fairly benign as far as long term prognosis, and they shouldnt mess with hearing in the long term, but they hurt like a motherfucker for 3-4 days or until it pops. The clinic will either lance it and give you pain meds, or in my case say it's too big to lance and still give you pain meds.

If you continue to have the pinging and watery sounds, I'd make a soonish appointment with you regular physician to get it looked at.

Edit: Eardrum, to be specific. Can't see it unless someone looks right in.

I don't think the pain is enough for it to be a blister. I've been to the doctor about the ringing but with the pinging being fairly new it'd be interesting to see if they could find anything

Agreed. It's not a case of 'maybe it hurts enough' its more like 'holy shit there is an ice pick in my ear'

Definitely can't hurt to let the doc look though. Did they say anything about the ringing?
