Well, I heard Mister Young sing about her
Well, I heard ol' Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A southern man don't need him around anyhow

and for the record, Neil wasn't singing about southern folk in general, only those that prefer to burn crosses for effect, aka the KKK.

Not as much in this thread (other than being another LS song), but it does fit in well in the gun control thread.
This is the "random" thread though, so not sure it matters.

in the context that they are more well organized and less volatile as a strategy than the compared group that would be correct

Edit: today, not in their heyday, of course.

Also for the record, Neil Young and Lynyrd Skynyrd respected each other, despite the appearance of conflict. In fact, they both sang each other's songs at their concerts, with the other's permission.

Glad you are back raring to stir shit again.
I am from the deep south originally, don't assume (as always) that you know what I am familiar with.

Not even remotely (except for Jesus)
Only people I am prejudiced against are assholes, and I hate NASCAR, until they have the road races and actually steer to the right on occasion.

Edit: I guess I am familiar with all 3 being from one of the most racists parts of the country and knowing a lot of people that were responsible for the early days of NASCAR (moonshiners... parents or grandparents of friends).
