In Rookie I was something awesome like 79% in the 30-39 yard range. In Sophomore, I'm 50% for the same range.

FSM's Seasoned kicker is 47% from 30-39 yards, yet 90% from 40-49. Shit's weird.

So eventually it's a build thing but the further you go the worse you get? Sounds logical.

If you want to twist it, you can claim whatever you want. But nowhere near enough SP in earlier tiers for kickers to not be at the mercy of RNG.

obviously it's possible to miss from anywhere but attempting longer FGs this early makes it significantly more likely you'll miss.

ASU doesn't attempt a ton of field goals, but that's by design. This early in a kicker's career, your accuracy tapers off more dramatically when attempting longer field goals. We've only attempted 2 40-49 FGs this season and 0 from 50+, but looking at your K on HAHA, who's pretty damn solid inside 30 yards (11/13), it looks like we're almost better off having punted in 40+ yard FG attempt situations. Our K is 12/17 inside 40. Yours is 17/26. That's all it is, really. Build up your accuracy & consistency early, and when you have those maxed out, pump power to increase your accurate range. nbd
