Honestly it sounds pretty benign. Bursitis is more likely than tendonitis given you said it's deep, any minor swelling? That'd also account for the lack of tenderness, it's really hard to actually touch a bursa

Na, doesn't really swell up at all.

And, predictably, it went away after a night of tossing and turning.

Since I was like...8 or 9, I've gotten a weird knee pain every month or two. It only lasts for a day or two, but it's like a deep painful throbbing. Activity doesn't really cause it to hurt any more than certain postures. Jabbing around the area with my fingers, the pain is generally unaffected.

It doesn't hurt long enough or bad enough to prompt a doctors visit, but always wonder wtf is up with it.

Do your knees get really sore right around the same time you get promoted at work.

We don't really have "promotions" with a team of three people.

I'm a huge Ritchie Blackmore fan. Just skip ahead in the upcoming video--go to the 4:50 or so mark. THAT is how you thumb your nose at bullshit television "fake" live performances: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLWx7lSZw-c

Is Tina Fey a "real" celebrity? I just saw a credit card commercial where some non-descript woman was making poor attempts at humor while "shopping" and buying things with her credit card. Only when the commercial was about to end and it showed this non-descript woman signing her name did it become clear (to me) that this boring-to-hear-and-boring-to-watch woman was Tina Fey.

Would you notice and recognize her if she was buying a gallon of milk at Braums? Or if she were paying for a shirt at Macy's?

I don't think I would. And yes I get it that she's been on television for a couple of decades.

To compare and contrast, I just saw a Gatorade commercial that included 64-year old George "The Ice Man" Gervin. I recognized him instantly.
