No, we are not giving flex back. Never said that.

I also want to reiterate that the main purpose of this thread was to get feedback and to answer user questions while we finalize some of the details. If you feel your question was not answered, then please re-post it or send me a PM.

Sometime later this week, I'll be closing this thread and posting the final version of the changes along with some FAQ's and answers.

Catch,

Can you tell me how these two "current" dots compare once rolled into the new system? Will they stay 1.700 levels different through their careers. Will either dot be able to reach L75 like in the current system.

Dot 1 - Created Day 40, Boosted Day 47 from 1-4. Ends season 23 at level 15 with around 900 XP.

Dot 2 - Created Day 40, Not Boosted from 1-4. Ends season 23 at level 14 with around 200 XP.

And, can you tell me how those two dots would compare if both started in the new system? IE. If one dot boosted to 4 to start the season would that dot have a +3 level difference in the end build?

With the 3 extra boosts every dot should break 75.

They are starting at 40 day old dots when APD takes place not day 28 as you suggest.(unless something changed today??) next years rookie dots are at least lev 18 possibly 19 if they boost b4 S24(catch didnt have answer which one it would be) The way this is set up as of now next years rookie dots dont have to boost b4 S24 and still finish a level higher than the S23 rookies that boosted b4 S23!

Catch, can you explain this please. I really hope this isnt the way its gonna happen.

I love you, man.

Questions:

In your Player Development Model, in the first season a dot levels up 15 times (12+3) to lvl 16. How will this affect boosting from 1 to 4 before season roll over (for new dots created under this system) ? Is it even an option ?
Of course we can find out for ourselves, when we get to see the final xp chart. Personally I would like to know the maximum allowed number of boosts asap. Is it 24 or 27 ?

Thanks. I've read the whole thread, but somehow missed that. Looks like it's 27 boosts then, and a must have for anyone aiming for WL.

Players created this past offseason (S23 rookies) are going to be 40 days old in the old system.... Let's assume they implement the new system this coming offseason.... That season 23 rookie that was 40 days old will now be 28 days old as they will be adjusting every single players age in the entire game to adapt to the new accelerated system. Not sure why you would think a 40 day old dot would be converted into a 40 day old dot. Maybe re-read the first couple posts and re-think your problem.

because catch stated they were going to be day 40, read this thread

agree thats why I keep saying, and I have some guy that quotes Catches initial post on player conversion. Pisses me off people dont read the whole thread and post like they have a clue

The catch quote from like 15 pages ago was his throwing out what they are currently thinking for the age based league structure they are trying to match up with the new ages.

I am pretty sure you guys are taking like 5 words out of 1 catch post in a 60 pages thread and assuming that he meant to say day 40 dots will convert to day 40 dots. That's just retarded. You think every dot in the entire system will be knock back days to convert to the new system but the day 40 dots will stay the same? Don't you think that would be a pretty big deal if they were going to do something retarded like that?

So non-boosting players reach level 48 at the end of 7 seasons and begin to decline immediately. There will no longer be any reason to slow build so it will be full boost or nothing.

Yeah same question.

Using the formula provided by aceinthehouse (ty btw) half the players on my team will now be (at the end of the season) age 167 (167.4) and the other half will be 191 (191.4) putting us into the Semi Pro league. We're currently in the Regional Pro and going off of those leagues listed, that drops my team what would be down 2 leagues from what it would auto promote us to next season. Will there be another league reshuffle or will I lose my stadium and cash to demote?

You wouldn't lose stadium/cash if your team stayed at the same level due to a GLB implemented change.

Ok good to know. Thanks!

You may have answered this already Catch, but is there a "drop dead" date by which the decision to implement season 24 vs season 25 will be made?

I think it would be very helpful to make sure we know whether this is happening by day 24 or so, and certainly by day 32.
