Additions to game

#1 - Allow for up to 3 boosts (no limitations) once a player enters plateau. A player could use this to boost from level 69 to level 72 or to take a player from level 73 to 76 if they so wished.

#2 - Add a new unlockable tree to Custom Equipment as follows (can use RP for this):

Level 32: +3% modifier or +1 to SA, 50 flex non-refundable
Level 56: +3% modifier or +1 to SA, 50 flex non-refundable
Level 72: +6% modifier or +2 to SA, 100 flex non-refundable
Total a player could get is +12% (subject to AEQ stacking limitations), +4 to SA.

question on this - let's say my CB has other AE and has no MT%, so he chooses +3%, +3%, +6% in all MT% - will he get 12% or will it be 6 + 3(*50%) + 3(*25%) for an added 8.25% to MT?

or is the stacking limitation only if he had a +15% MT and adding all this would only add 6% MT?

can the +% and +SA be added to different modifiers or all to the same?

how is it paid?

level 32 = 50 RP
level 56 = 50 RP
level 72 = 100 RP
?
- bolded part was answered right when I hit the quote button - lol

It'd be 12%, it's paid as you outlined.

Catch, can you post a comparison of an endgame dot that is currently a D 40 S 22 rookie that pre season boosted vs a brand new rookie made under the new system.

basically, is it worth it to keep the new rookie dots now? Or will they be replaced by the new wave of recruits after their first plateau in World League?

keep in mind, most people who create D 40 of the previous season would like to have an end game advantage by boosting early, which seems like they will lose after their first season in plateau to the newer dots.

Also, dont you think rookie leagues will be packed with current Rk-soph-University teams that are going to delete their dots in order to be elite

Edit: Inevitably I think I alraedy know whats going to happen, current dots will be obsolete in the new system after first plateau. Is there a way we could get some sort of full refund on equipment and so on?

Existing players will be converted to a new age equivalent. Whatever your age is in the current system will be compared to an equivalent age based on what estimated XP values between the two systems. For example, a 350 day old player in the old system would become a 205 day old player in the new system. A 120 day old player in the old system would become a 72 day old player in the new system.

BTW,from this quote by catch?

If anyone is curious on how old your players will be (presuming they won't be declining)
Take the age your player will be, at the end of this season.

and - 40% off that age and that will be his *new* age from what I calculated.

examples above show 350 day player becoming 205 days
- 40% is 210 (very close)

120 day old player - 40% is 72 days old.
Spot on

This should be VERY close if not exactly what your players age will be.
Presuming Catch is staying with his same formula?

Thought I would help you guys out man.

So I answered my own question to catch, that nobody knew...lol

My Punter will be 471 days old on day 40 this season.
He should fall back to 282.6 (283) days old or very close to that number in the
*new* Accelerated Player Development
once it's implemented.

Freakin' awesome!

"League Structure Revamp:
With the reduction in number of "age" levels, we would need to restructure the age based leagues as follow:.
Season 24
0 - Rookie
1-40 - Sophomore
41-60 - Prep
61-80 - University
81-100 - Local Minor
101-120 - Regional Minor
121-140 - National Minor
141-160 - Upper National Minor
161-200 - Semi Pro
201-Uncapped - Regional Pro
241-Uncapped - National Pro/World League"

I've got players on my Nat. Pro team who will only be 360 days old at season's end. If I read this right they won't be eligible for my team next season. Is that right?

Okay but what about guys that are already into plateau? Since guys who are Day 441 or older do not have experience gain they would all have the same reference point for your conversions?

Or are you going to add a season based on age above plateau? IE they would become season 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 for Day 440, 480, 520, 560, 600?

And if so, what happens to the existing decline in players aged 560-639?

?????????????????????

Also on the radio show you seemed to say that anyone in plateau would be made day 281 players. I presume thats not correct and instead its 281+40 per season into plateau right? A 480 player would be 321?

Is this an error or was your statement on the radio show last night? You clearly said no reward then.

Or is it a change?

Anyway, the point being - is this accurate?

Not that I care particularly. Just curious.

Yeah same question.

Using the formula provided by aceinthehouse (ty btw) half the players on my team will now be (at the end of the season) age 167 (167.4) and the other half will be 191 (191.4) putting us into the Semi Pro league. We're currently in the Regional Pro and going off of those leagues listed, that drops my team what would be down 2 leagues from what it would auto promote us to next season. Will there be another league reshuffle or will I lose my stadium and cash to demote?

No part of this thread implies this.

Lowered the minimum age for the uncapped leagues next season to account for this possibility.

Still finalizing/waiting for approval on the numbers for this which is why I haven't posted it yet but the submitted model has players in plateau having 160 days subtracted from their age. Thus a 441 day old player (that is in plateau currently) would be 281 days old (which is where plateau begins in the new model). A 560 day old player (that is in plateau currently) would be 400 days old (which is 80 days less then where plateau ends in the new model thus giving this player the 2 additional seasons of plateau). Players 561 or older or players between 441-560 not in plateau would receive no conversion.

You wouldn't lose stadium/cash if your team stayed at the same level due to a GLB implemented change.
